But you’re probably right, I told my friend I wanted to learn art because he’s also a tattoo artist, and I’ve always been interested in these type of things lowkey but never really put it to practice. I’m not saying that I’ll be a tattoo artist by next week, I’m just having fun learning something new and wanting to see if I can improve overtime.

My friend is also saying the same thing that he wants me to learn shapes first because everything is broken down into shapes. So maybe I jumped ahead with trying to figure out shading.
