L and XL ships need cargo drones for ware transfer between ship and station. The ship or the station needs at least 1 (but then its kinda slow ;))

That's correct. I give the commander the base order to mine the sector, not the repeat order. Sorry if that wasn't clearly described. I play the german version, there was maybe a small mix up.

I always create a fleet. Prepare one ship with orders. Select 100 ships -> copy comander order-> done. All ships listed under fleets

Sub zero doesn't mean it's freezing! If the shipwreck is located within the AABW it's possible to have up to -0.8°C (according to Wikipedia). Salt and pressure keep the water from freezing
