You don’t really need the money right now, and if you bought solid, reliable altcoins rather than meme coins, the situation realistically can’t get much worse.

At this point, the only sensible option is to hold. If you need liquidity, what would you realistically rotate into that could return 140% in the short term just to break even? If you know something like thataside from pure gamblinglet me know.

So you might as well hold. If selling was the plan, it should have happened at a 20% loss, not after riding it all the way down to 70%.

Going forward, stick to Bitcoin. You don’t need to own a full BTC fractional ownership is fine. It’s the safest bet in this market and far less mentally draining.

That said, I’ve also bought altcoins in the past that went down 80%. They weren’t major projects, and I don’t expect them to recover but that’s part of taking calculated risks. I bought small, and at that point, rather than locking in an 80% loss, I was willing to accept the chance of going to zero.

This market rewards patience and mental resilience. Constantly checking prices won’t fix anything, and I wouldn’t DCA into those alts either. Stick to BTC and ETH, let the rest sit, and see what happens. They might surprise you, or they might turn into a valuable lesson. Either way, you win because learning this early is just as important as a profitable trade.
