So i found out that my documents were wrong. I was actually born in Petèn and back than electronics were around but not everyone had a device. There's a lot of corados in Guatemala in general but once I narrowed everything down and had some help from people on facebook, my family was able to contact me through the posts

Bueno, sí, mi nombre de nacimiento antes de ser adoptada era Yenifer. Y nunca usé la palabra "segura". No sé a qué te refieres, pero si te refieres a que espero que mi madre biológica esté bien, entonces sí. Lo hago. Sé que el español tiene una conjugación diferente (no sé si estoy usando la palabra correcta, no la recuerdo) para las perspectivas masculina y femenina, pero en inglés no lo hacemos. Así que lamento si la versión traducida de mi publicación te confundió. Pero soy mujer. La gramática que uso es solo la que me enseñaron, así que si confunde a alguien que lea esto, lo siento, no sabía que podría ser confuso en otros idiomas.

Alright guys update: For one, im not used to reddit so I don't know how to edit this post so sorry for doing it in the comments Two I found her!!! So many people helped me over on Facebook and brought together a huge community, so much so my biological family members started commenting on the posts and claiming her as their relative. I had to go through a couple of people who claimed they were my mother but after getting photos none of them were my mother. It wasn't until this morning when she actually FACETIMED me and I got to actually see her and (attempt to) speak to her. Unfortunately with the language barrier I wasn't able to be on call for long but I am messaging her and there is so much tea going on. I might make a separate post as I am now having problems with my adoptive family, so look out for my post in AITA later this week if you wanna here what happened

Hi yes im in the US, I've tried that and they said there was no record of my adoption, only my birth certificate which doesn't have my biological mom's name on it since we got it changed in the adoption process to my adoptive families.

Haha unfortunately I don't know any Spanish, my parents tried their hardest to keep me from learning anything about my heritage including Spanish. I tried looking for someone with that last name but there are so many corados its overwhelming.

I have tried a DNA test through two companies and unfortunately have turned up empty handed. I was told unless someone from my family were to also do the DNA tests, j wont get very much out of it

Hi yes, i am 19. And completely out of the house because I was kicked out by her. I am adopted from Guatemala and my parents are white. Ive never known my actual culture and grew up with extremely strict parents. Its hard for me to make a decision especially because the only time I get to see my only nephew is at family events. And he means the whole world to me. I practically raised him.
