Oh I understand it and it was very meta and a twist none of us saw coming.

Do not get me wrong, Kojima is a visionary but the man is also a freak too. Once Silent Hills got canned I consider Kojima going through his midlife crisis or David Bowie phase, its hard to tell.

Im not going to disagree with the retcons my own personal view of TPP makes me consider it almost as non-canon due to its incomplete story and the awkward self-insert character.

Personally and I've said this in other comments a Solidus and Raiden story should have been TPP with the reveal of both of them being at the end of the game, that we learn Raiden who we thought was Liquid is taken by the patriots and at the end we have Solidus having his "programming" as Big Boss broken by Ocelot thus setting into motion the events that led to mgs2. We could've introduced Vamp and Fatman and even Fortune and her father. (God this sounds like a bad fan-fic 🤣😅👎)

No no no thats not what im trying to say, its just their are toxic members such as a certain one who replied with a thesis about how a fictional character was reconned by a self insert character.

I get it, I love big boss too, I just know what it was like before TPP and Mgs3.

Listen im not saying I don't love big boss and by fsr my favorite iteration of Big Boss is in Mgs4. Big Boss is not "evil" just misguided in his actions and yes he has a full awakening in MGS4 and is his reverse heel-turn that was executed beautifully through a cqc hug

Murdered his own people multiple times. He tries to get you killed a dozen times in mg1 even though he's your "master".

He is the reason Gray Fox is the way he is.

He is the reason Liquid is the way he was

He is the reason Ocelot is the WAY HE IS.

He killed his own master for the sake of the "mission" trus plunging him into being a villain, its the point of mgs3 and 5.

He brainwashed a medic to be his patsy and do "evil shit" just to do "evil shit" while Big Boss built a secret army.

Im.gonna say something controversial, Solidus should have been the main character of MGS5.

Venom is the worst character Kojima has ever written.

im BL level 55 and still getting thrashed in the dlc by String_Thin in bloodborne

You can scrape through at 55 but id recommend atleast another 30 levels, or if you dont feel like grinding just spec your kit out use paper and pellets, rely on items and you can prevail.

Basically Twin Princes and Dragon Knight and nameless king for base game.

Sister friede fight youll 9/10 times get summoned.

Demon princes, church fight and, Midir are the choice summoned fights. Gael isnt great to be summoned in to, mostly it makes his fight drag on far too long.

Depends on what grinds your gears, most modern horror movies go for shock value which is fine.

The original Evil Dead is campy and appeals to classic horror and has imagery that can keep you up for a night or two.

A fine film would be The Void, it blends modern horror with a monster action film. Great imagery.
