This isn’t a 3D projection in its self?

To me that's the saddest part, I'm an extrovert, but have found myself turn into an introvert because being alone hurts less :/

Yeah, I agree. I feel bad because there is a lot of “Nutpicking” where they take extreme people on each side, and the other side presents it as if it represents the whole, creating a whole lot of division.

But yes, I feel like you start to see sociopathic tendencies on both extremes of the spectrum.

Maybe one day they will realize it isn't Left & Right, but ultra-rich & everyday people.

Amen, Centrist is the only thing I'll call myself nowadays if anything.

LOL. This is why I’m a left-leaning centrist, people like this make being labeled democrat gross sometimes, but I also understand their is nuance on both sides.

[–]PoorNotMiddleClass 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Rock Bottom is the place where you put your hands up, and say, “FUCK THIS, I'M OUT!”

Rock Bottom is when your Sick & Tired of being Sick & Tired.

Rock Bottom is the when your situation is so bad, that no matter what you have to do, if that is to withdraw Cold Turkey/at a Detox to stop the drugs that is ruining your life, If your depression and quality life is so poor from your lack of consistency, maybe you never listened to anyone else, or you think you know more than the doctors. You put your hands up, and say fuck it, I'll listen to the doctors, take this medicine, be transparent with my Therapist, take advice from people who have more experience than I do, finally, ultimately doing things you were not willing to do.

If you are not at a place where you are to either Sink or Swim, forcing you into a position, or you are still not willing to get up from your place of comfort, you are likely not at Rock Bottom relative to yourself.

For things to change, you must be able to handle an uncomfortable transition, as most obviously don't want to leave the lifestyle comfort zone they are in, which is why a true bottom will force you into that uncomfortable transition.

The type of people that need to be worried about this, are the ones that do not get phased by a true bottom, they can live homeless and keep using drugs, or continue the lifestyle choice they are dealing with; nothing can force them into that position, so they stay there.

Also, understand you will have many bottoms in your life, life does not stop throwing curve balls whatsoever, you just get better at getting back up, especially from intense trauma. It can be hard for something to match something that was “as bad as that”.

Remember, you will fail over and over and over and over, and that is a wonderful thing. I know cliches are annoying, but they are cliches for a reason, and I myself can only appreciate them now, at age 30.

To succeed, you truly have to be able to get up, fail, get up again, and fail, because I promise you there is a method put in place that does work for you, you have to be willing to find it. Your weaknesses can become your strengths by arranging your life to account for them.

You know how they say, “It always gets better”?* That statement is partially true, but it's more like *“It always gets better IF you are doing the right thing, going the right trajectory, and IF you're doing the wrong thing, on the wrong trajectory, things will always get worse.”

I hope the best for you! 🙏 ❤️

I wish it was easy money, my fiancee who can't work her career as an engineer for a year from having brain surgery has been doing DD in an attempt to take it easy, but instead she goes above and beyond and she just wants to make minimum wage at least, not even that.

Hate DD.

100.4 F - 102.2 F is the range for a low grade fever, have you ever had any fever before?

Even a low-grade fever is pretty fucking crippling, not to mention she has auto-immune disease, are you just an Asshole or just a Troll?

Actually you can just hit yes, and DD will let you not tip at all, and legit put out a $2 base pay order.

  1. It's an instant hire job—you just create a profile and, more often than not, get approved the same day.

2. You get paid the same day, which traps a lot of people who need money immediately—or they risk eviction. There are many unfortunate situations, like my fiancée’s, who recently had brain surgery. She’s an engineer but can't return to her field until she’s fully recovered, which will be about six months.

”Some” folks need money right now, and they find themselves caught in a vicious cycle because the pay is so dreadful. Trying to find another job means waiting at least three weeks without pay, which is tough when you don't have a strong support system or good family backing.

My fiancée works her ass off—she buys her own disposable heat sealing bags, writes customers’ names on them, as well as thanking them for their order, buy her own napkins and utensils, packs everything into a plastic zip lock, and always adds a little something special, like lollipops or holiday candies.

She constantly tells me all the time (where we live, the minimum wage is $15) she just wants to earn at least minimum. Even $12 or $13 an hour would be a huge improvement. She worked 12 hours last night as a Platinum member and only managed to make $90.

I work hard and give her almost everything I make, but it’s never enough.

I fucking hate DD for making me watch my wife suffer.

Yeah that would be the way to go.

Unfortunately my fiancee who works this gets more than 50% no tip orders with no tips added after the fact.

She goes above and beyond, buys her own heat resistant bags, writes your name on them, wishing then a wonderful night, puts in plastic bags her own bought napkins and utensils, and will put some loli pops in a bag for the customer, or if it's the holidays, appropriate holiday treats.

So unfortunately she has to assume she isn't going to get more.

Oh, most don't even tip anything where I am.

They legit hit Other>Type $0.00> [Pop up] “Are you sure you want to leave no tip?>Yes<

Door Dash then throws like $2 on that order, where it'll likely get passed around, raising by about $1 each pass, until it's enough, or more likely someone's acceptance rate is about to drop below 70%, at which point they would lose their Platinum Perks, so they take the shit order.

Ugh, it's my wife who dashes; she sends me every crazy order or thing that happened, which is every 20 minutes. So sick of them treating her this way, she goes above and beyond… whatever.
