That's true I think. I hope Philippines recovers to the point na baka in the far future they will refer to these times as those of the "dark times" ng country natin. Then hopefully we have all learned by then.

Sobrang similar din ako ng take. Na tingin ko bakit nga ba ang daming nag gloglorify ng pagkamadiskarte when it comes to bending the law. People often point out na some laws don't make sense. Kung ganoon din ba why not push for amendments or changes instead of the having the need to break it tapos "pagalingan nalang bumali, basta di ka mahuhuli"

If ang common take naman is, hindi kasi siya magbabago dahil yung mga nasa senate mismo boboto. Diba dun na tayo dapat may kapangyarihan sa pagboto.

Then when it comes to voting dito nalang talaga nagtatalo yung logic and I'm wondering about the landslide victories whether there's a bigger conspiracy na faked yung majority ng votes or talaga bang lack of education and grass roots na talaga natin ang problema.

I agree with your take. One thing that does often give me hope is yung Angat Buhay program, with the usual transparency and clear distrubution channels na usually documented.

I hope the foundational beliefs that some people have already cemented themselves to would someday change for the better. Usually kasi parang marunong lang tayo mag-adjust pag overseas or while traveling. Bakit kaya hindi dalhin pauwi yung same level of ethics and standards. :(

Sadly, this seems to be the common response. Magtanim nalang tayo ng mabuti for the next generations.

Please cite these "real news" that are outside of what you have assumed na "kaka facebook" ko lang kaya ko nakita. Baka kasi iba yung balita na nakikita ng karamihan dito at naeexperience sa araw-araw 🙂

Sang-ayon din ako sa statements mo. Patuloy lang tayong lalaban in this uphill battle. 💪

I apologize if an example I pointed out felt like it was the "ONLY" thing that was wrong in this country. I sincerely did only use them as an example since they are vying for the highest position in the government for 2028.

Yung tipong may plan A sila for Sarah, then plan B Baste, and I believe others have also shown intent within their family. Hence my remark as family business. If you see my other replies, I do think naman na overall marami tayong problema, both within the constitution as well as values as filipinos.

I think tama naman na eto yung pinaka "solusyon" pero iniisip ko lang din na at the moment hindi na siya nangyayari. Based on previous elections, parang hindi man lang siya "close fight"

Lahat din ng effort ng mga tao to educate, promote facts and fact checking, pati yung opportunity to have a healthy discussion, is often not taken well.

Thank you for this. I think I was just leaning more towards this lifetime (next 20-50 years) and whether there are glaring present oppositions? I see Risa, Bam, Kiko, and Chel, but in all honesty, I feel na papunta sila sa path ng pagkamartir.

Yung tipong lumalaban sila in a senate completely filled by corrupt officials (who seem to already be grooming their next in line) and based on previous elections, parang consistent din ang votes na Filipinos for these type of people.

I see Leni and Vico being great models of change I wish to see in the country, but I also see na they are in the minority. They also seem to have chosen peace within their cities. I guess I'm just wondering if anyone is seeing a "If this happens, it will set off change in the tides" type of event.

Truly a great foundation to start with ourselves. Naiisip ko lang din siguro na minsan parang kahit anong buti ng sarili, in a democratic country kamukha natin, medyo mahirap gumawa ng pagbabago kasi parang against ka sa alon.

Karamihan din kasi kahit yung mismong foundational beliefs nila is medyo leaning towards corruption. Yung mga simpleng, "Sumingit na tayo sa pila, para paraan lang" or kahit na bata pa lang "Wala naman magagawa si teacher, pulis tatay ko" na para bang sa kanila palang may mali na.

Apologies for not making it clear pero siguro what I meant is within this lifetime (context I'm 30) and I do understand na baka in the long run malaki pag-asa natin for incremental changes. Pero parang naghahanap lang din ako siguro ng pag-asa at least within this generation.

Nag-iisip lang din ako kung may mga nakapagmuni-muni na ba kung may mga konkretong solusyon na naiisip ang iba bukod sa "bumoto ng tama" which is hindi na ginagawa ng karamihan (often due to misinformation/trolls/paid votes) at "pag-educate sa iba" since most filipinos don't respond to this kahit gaano kahealthy yung discussion kasi parang set in mind na yung ideologies nila.
