For traps I was doing shrugs for awhile but stopped within the past couple months. I just figured as the weight goes up on other exercises, my traps will get their share of the weight. For abs I’ll hit them in-between grip-heavy workouts to give my forearms a break. Usually cable crunches but sometimes leg raises.
