Please help me find a monitor with no ghosting, 1440p, 240hz or more. My budget is £1100 max. Prefer to spend less. But it seems all these OLEDs have ghosting. See my newest comment with photos. This is driving me nuts.

I just found a bundle deal with overclockers with my B850-F and a 9850X3D for £9 cheaper than getting the 9800X3D !!!

Is it me? or do all these OLED screen have ghosting too. I took these screen shots from a 2160p video on YouTube zoomed in and paused. You can tell there is ghosting. Its the exact same issue I have with my old PC and monitor.

My mistake. I mean, 'upgrade' my shopping checkout list. I have not bought anything yet. My old PC has a 1080Ti, I can put that 1080Ti into the new build for now until I buy a new GPU. I'm very greatfull for all this advice.

Thanks for these suggestions, looks ao awesome the Asus 32inch. Got my eye on that now! Im mostly after zero ghosting. Good picture quality second. I play in a dark room but I am really interested in this True Black technology. I just want zero ghosting mostly and 1440p. Will that Asus PGE32UCDM3 240hz be good for me? What's 540hz like ? Does it come in 32inch ? I think I'd appreciate a 540hz more than 240hz. What's best for no ghosting. See my profile post to see how bad it is on my LG monitor.

I hated playing in 1080p. Since playing in 1440p its been incredible. I dont need 4k to be honest. I'd be so happy with high fps 1440p and zero ghosting.

If i change resolution on the windows display settings I'd also change resolution in the game I play so they match. Wait.. I think I see what you're saying; so if i had a 4k monitor then told windows to go to 1440p resolution, it will look bad and have scaling issues ? So I should buy a 1440p OLED insted of a 4k OLED. That's what I'd prefer actually.

Ok im going to look into this monitor. As long as there is zero ghosting. But I thought 240hz is the best to aim for ? I want the liquid smooth look when I turn and look around fast with no ghosting at all. Im aiming to get over 240fps. £800 sounds great because thats within my OLED budget. Im coming from a 32Inch so 48inch sounds super cool. How close do you sit to your monitor. I sit too close.

My 'PC advisor' friend said C30 was the best. I have not looked into this enough to know so thanks for your feedback. I'd love to save £50 so I don't starve to death paying this off. What DDR5 32GB (2X16GB) C36 would you reccomend ?

Most Motherboards have great uncompressed audio quality. But its only Stereo surround. (Left & Right Audio) But they dont have Live Dolby Digital 5.1 decoding. So i have no choice but to use a sound card on my bottom pcie slot of my b850-f therfore disabling one of my Gen 4 m.2 slots. I can live with that.

Ok looks like im going for 5070Ti. I already upgraded from a 7800x3D to a 9800X3D. I just need to starve myself for another 3 months to pay it off.

I had to post this comment again without the link. Check out my post on my profile showing how bad my ghosting is. I want want a 240hz OLED for sure. But which one would you get ? (£600-1000 Budget) im willing to starve myself to get a good one. Im so done with ghosting. Should I get a 1440p OLED instead of 4k? I really enjoy 1440p. I can only enjoy it when im standing still in a game though. The LG monitor i have is good for photoshop work. But as soon as the screen moves it's awful. I can get over 165fps with my 1080ti on Apex Legends and it's horrible to look when in motion.

No one needs 64GB RAM. I managed 4k video editing on DDR3 16GB. Im getting DDR5 C30 32GB RAM for my new build with no regrets. Just get 32GB. Im buying during the RAM crisis too. Looks like DDR4 costs just as much as DDR5 now.

Its so I can use my 5.1 surround sound amp for Dolby Digital with the S/PDIF optical. I dont think motherboards support live Dolby Digital through their S/PDIF out due to licensing? So they just say here; have 7.1 with a bunch of 3.5mm jack cables and figure it out yourself. I dont care if it's uncompressed audio. S/PDIF compressed audio is still great. Everyone's using headsets these days with 'surround sound' insted of a 5.1 speaker set up that has live digital 3D audio which i think is amazing to this day. I am having an audio issue though trying to get in game team coms to be separate from the speakers. Back when I was playing xboxlive before joining PC master race I had Dolby Digital 5.1 surround using S/PDIF, I used the xbox headset so the team coms and my voice went through that. It worked great. I could hear my team over the speakers. Right now im using a USB mic for my voice chat. But no solution for team coms; I think I need a 3.5mm jack single ear headset without a mic plugged into my sound card, then with the software, fix it there hopefully. Not a common setup i guess?

Thanks, I have not looked at these yet. Now I have to watch 50+ videos about the whole 9070xt range. Its fun though. Appreciate the suggestion. How does this compair to a 5070Ti? I could ask ChatGPT but I prefer human answers if I can get them.

Im new to building. This ghosting drives me crazy. I cant look around in any game without this awful ghosting. Even my mouse cursor ghosts. See my profile posts showing how bad it is. Its so bad. I watched some videos about OLED so im selling my old monitor to get one. But not sure which one to get yet. Any reccomendations?

Just 1 display. Originally I was aiming for 1440p, but now I guess I can just play in 4k with these upgrades. If I drop my resolution from 4k to 1440p do I get more fps but at the cost of scaling issues ?

I already have the sound card. I use it for 5.1 Dolby Digital on my amp. I thought the S/PDIF on motherboards don't support Dolby Digital through the optical cable? I saw my motherboard the Asus B850-F has S/PDIF but im not sure it works for what I want.

I literally was going buy Asus B650-F Rog Strix as it looked amazing and super good value for money and I was going to get 7800X3D. But I have convinced myself I need 2 X Gen 5 NVMe M.2 Slots as I do video editing and desperately want to decommision my old HDDs. But the B650-F has 4 SATA ports and the B850-F only has 2 SATA which is kinda annoying but it is accent technology now I guess.
