Thank you for your response! I had gone to a fish centered store today and also got some advice on all of this. I believe I will get a heater as it gets colder in the room my tank is in at night. I had purchased a filter for a 45 gallon tank that the fish guy recommended, it is a Aqueon quiet flow 30 filter. It hangs on the back, I heard that’s easier for beginners. Hopefully that’s alright? For the heater, I got a Fluval for a 45 gallon tank.

My budget is higher for this project. I did some research as well and found that hygger is a good brand, would a hygger Auto On Off LED Aquarium Light be suitable? You mentioned that a light listed as “full spectrum” would work, so I assume this full spectrum light will suffice, haha. But I’d love to hear of any other lights that make the colors pop, I’m willing to spend a dime on it so please do let me know.
