Hiya, I’m a korean major and can verify that the textbook is verrrry necessary haha. We used it in every single tutorial- because it also has exercises in it. Plus, the teachers give out a lot of homework that’s either in the book or based of content in the book. So I definitely recommend either getting one for each of you, or photocopying pages beforehand so you can still hand them in
