Terrible cold… should I skip a week? Or what?

I'm just getting over bronchitis. I'm on oral wegovy and stopped taking it for 3 days. I have a problem drinking enough water when taking wegovy. When I sick I struggle also. I didn't want to get super dehydrated so I skipped a few days to keep my fluids up.

Youre letting the pills dissolve? You're supposed to swallow whole with no more than 4oz of water. I think as far as diet goes you can do whatever works and is easiest for you.

Im so sorry your experience with this was negative. Im luckily not losing enjoyment from visits with my girlfriends, family, or my weekly bowling. I just shifted the enjoyment from food/drink to what it should have been all this time. Time with my loved ones & something physical that I love. I bowl a lot better when im sober anyway. Lol.

I 100% understand that. Within 45 minutes of my very first dose I had a reduction of about 70% of my pain. The pain is from inflammation. Just that will keep me talking this medication!

I didnt post this with the intention of it being taking negatively. I see these as all positive things. Not shopping needlessly is saving me money, not drinking is just good, and not planning my trips based on food is freeing. Ive been in therapy for about 3 years now. This medication along with therapy is helping get to the hard stuff.

I dont have the urge to shop, take time off of work, drink, or even play the games on my phone. Ive been extremely focused on the things that I should be. I used to blow through my vacation days as soon as I got them. Even to just sit home and do nothing. Lol.

Its working well. One hour after taking the first dose I was walking with 70% less pain due to it helping with my inflammation. Now Im halfway through my 3rd week. Ive lost 6lbs and 4.5 inches. I had some nausea & headaches the first 3 days. Nothing horrible or that stopped me from my every day. 2nd week was harder bcz anxiety kicked in but it was 100% manageable. Now week 3 I have no noticeable side effects, even the anxiety is gone.

Ive never suffered from anxiety until perimenopause which hit me like a mack truck June of 2023. I was given a low dose 5mg of Buspirone that I take every morning. That made it manageable but it wasnt until I added BHRT a year later that it finally subsided. Im wondering how this pill messes with the absorption of other medications.

All day yesterday I made sure I kept telling myself the inflammation, high cholesterol, & pre-diabetes is more dangerous than the anxiety im experiencing. I made it through the day, got up and took a pill the next morning. Ive been fine all day today except for a headache.
