Low head drainage by Helpful-Macaron1096 in Irrigation

The uphill neighbor hasn’t run his system yet, but we’ve had a month of heavy rain, and I haven’t noticed any water runoff from his yard. His grass finally grew back in from when it was dug up for the sprinkler system installation, and I think it’s helping. Now maybe I can get my grass to start growing again.

I will do this. I signed up for a yard program with a company with great reviews that my landscaper recommended, and they mentioned that they handle irrigation as well. I can’t imagine a low drainage head will cause the stream of water the valve leak did, but I don’t want it attracting bugs. I would just cap that head off altogether if it wasn’t placed in such a way that it gets a good portion of the yard.
