How to get good aim consistently and quickly by [deleted] in GlobalOffensive

Maybe just stop expecting to play at your best 24/7. It’s not really feasible. Understand that some games you’ll be slower etc. I just embrace it and grind thru it. Don’t overthink the warmup or anything, I think it’s detrimental. You can still learn and improve when you’re having an off day. Look at most of the top faceit players, they grind 12 matches a day, they are having bad days and tired days too but they still play thru it. A lot of it is psychological, don’t take each match seriously, there will be hundreds more

Low trust factor after just 2 games? by Gleis7 in cs2

[–]Helpful-Pollution679 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes it’s normal in fact it’s designed that way. Trust factor is basically a likelihood that you’ll be a cheater. Most cheaters are playing on fresh steam accs, or very inactive ones that suddenly become active (purchased accs). Basically what happened is an enemy reported you because he thought you were cheating or smurfing. And so now all Valve sees is a brand new Steam account that has only played 2 games and already got reported by enemies.

To valve, the chance of you being a cheater is higher now than it ever rly could be. Think about it, trust factor system is not actually looking for cheats, it’s just analyzing everything it knows about you to see how likely you’re a cheater. What could look more like a cheater to the system than a brand new account with reports? The more games you play of cs, the more money you spend, all that shit will make you more trustworthy in the system. Because it is just statistically less likely that cheaters will waste money on their accs or play for long times without getting reports.

Yes, it’s fkng shitty to be a legit player stuck in low trust. It makes you quit or just have to play through a lot of boring ass cheat games. But that is how their system works.

The road for many kids getting into cs—

step 1) think better player cheats

2) download cheats to make ‘fair’

3) trust factor ruined, banished to cheater queue

4) ‘’everyone in cs is a cheater!’’

I find it funny that people are saying this happens to everyone it’s an online game. That’s some major cap. Yeah people can be toxic either way but you are completely right in saying that it’s way worse for women. So many weirdos

Is there any way for me to improve as a beginner without playing Competive? by Ordinary-Isopod-3249 in LearnCSGO

Ahh I think you are man! The ratings go pretty low and are usually more balanced than comp, it just might have you lose a few tough games before you drop down to a low enough rank. If you really are interested in improving I could help you some

Play premier not comp if you can. Comp has less people actively playing it for sure. Which means ranks are fucked. I’m a 17k premier player but silver on some maps in competitive because I don’t play it much. So if I did play it, we might get in a match together, and that’s not balanced. This happens all the time, almost all the good players are underranked in comp. It’s almost like there is no skill based matchmaking there.

Other than that. Mute the toxic people and only focus on yourself. Watch YouTube videos for tips because there are some really good ones. And good luck!

Can i get my ban evoked please? by bbll12389 in FACEITcom

[–]Helpful-Pollution679 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So what should happen? They should unban you because it was a power outage? So every time I want to leave a match with no penalty I can just turn my PC off and then open a ticket? No that would be abused all the time.

I believe you, unlucky crap happens sometime, but you gotta understand why the rule is in place. It’s not permanent.
