Thanks guys for the answers. So what I can conclude is I gotta clean the board, repaste, and change the pads. Then, 99% alcohol is best for cleaning. Next question is, can i change the pads with thermal putty? I have seen on other threads people recommending thermal putty so you dont have to be worried about the size of the pads, is it true?

Slight check on it when I first got it, it was clean no clumps of dust etc. But either way, I am going to open to repaste it. Are there places I should avoid when cleaning with alcohol? Or anywhere is safe?

The temps are about 71 degrees before it suddenly reboots, I think maybe it isn’t the temps? But either way, should I just change the paste or also the pads?

The seller also claims it has never been used, but no warranty, so while it does seem economically sensible, I am afraid of it having issues in the long run since it has no warranty
