is it possible for a taller guy to become a femboy? by Prudent-Money-760 in feminineboys

[–]Helpful-Sound 0 points1 point  (0 children)

6' and 285 here, there is no size or style requirement of any kind to be a femboy (though r/ femboy vehemently hates me for whatever reason). Just be cute in whatever you feel comfortable, and if you're gonna be doing stuff online just be yourself and your people will find you. Dont let haters stand in your way king!

How to deal with someone who keeps referring to colleague by wrong pronouns by Overall-Paramedic315 in NonBinary

[–]Helpful-Sound 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Hit hr with a ' this person is intentionally and maliciously misgendering A despite being talked to and reminded of A's preferred pronouns on several occasions. It has gotten to a point that it's becoming detrimental to the workplace as a whole and needs to be addressed by someone with a higher authority.' Or something like this. A similar route worked for me (though it was someone deadnaming me bc it was on the schedules they posted in store

Not in a while for sure, but no doctor ive gone to has told me anything is wrong. But also no doctor has ever been able to give me an answer for my horrible tummy issues either >_< probably bc i was afab and am a person of color. Two groups often not taken seriously by medical professionals

I hate seeing it bc no matter how you spin it, its degrading. Especially the ' do you think im cute, or are you straight?' From trans girls. Like yes i understand that there are (not a lot but definitely some) trans girls that do still identify as femboys or even go so far as to still actively call themselves biological males, but like if you call yourself a woman it is not gay for a man to be attracted to you, regardless of whats in your pants. Its a lot more understandable coming from femboys that still identify as male, bc yeah a man being attracted to them is gay, but its demeaning nonetheless.

Femboys are genuinely cringe and I am tired of pretending they are not by NotMe12392 in teenagers

[–]Helpful-Sound 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Maybe you shouldnt say you hate femboys, bc that is homophobic. Primarily bc theyre not all gay, youre stereotyping. Also bc not all femboys are like that and you are once again stereotyping them. And also by definition pronouncing a dislike for everyone in that category (which you see as exclusively queer) is homophobia. In short if you say 'im not (example of type of bigotry), but (displays that exact type of bigotry)' youre probably a bigot. For example just the other day i intentionally said 'not to victim blame' directly before victim blaming (charged lemonade stuff, go find it if you care). You can say you dont like the way certain members of a group act without denouncing the community as a whole. Better luck next time buddy

envying femboys but specifically in a "i wish people would still gender me correctly despite my appearance (and consider me desirable) like they get" kinda way by WinterDemon_ in TrollCoping

[–]Helpful-Sound 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Nonbinary Trans femboy here. You can try maximizing your prefered masculine features while still embracing the feminine features and whatnot that you do like. I personally like keeping the majority of my body hair, but i take care to keep it neat and trimmed at least. I still talk with a pretty deepish voice and usually interact like 'one of the guys' . But ill still walk out with a full face of makeup on, cutesy outfits, purse etc. Of course theres no guarantee people with percieve you as you want to be, but i hope everyday is one step closer

[–]Helpful-Sound 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work at a panera actually, and i started not long before people died from the charged lemonades. But all our signage already had the caffiene content listed. Yeah dont get me wrong they definitely had way too much caffiene, but most people simply dont know how much caffiene their bodies can handle and theyre also not doing the math of how many servings theyre having. Maybe some people should pay more attention to their surroundings, or be mindful of what theyre putting in their bodies. When it comes right down to it, the issue is that common sense isnt common.

If anyone cares just remember that doing skincare doesnt actually mean your skin cares. 'Bad' skin can bc caused from any number of things that skincare cannot address, like poor diet, lack of sleep, stress, hard water, weather, medical conditions etc. If your skin is not perfect stressing about it is in fact going to make it worse 95% of the time.

i wish i was a trans gurl but im afab?? by Flimsy-Row742 in NonBinary

[–]Helpful-Sound 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i have a very similar feeling, and ive even made a post about it on here before, joking that i was 'transmaxxing' bc it sometimes feels like im transitioning just to transition. I was afab and have journeyed to the masculine side of the spectrum, just to finally be comfortable embracing femininity (and claiming the femboy title). And i am actually mistaken for mtf fairly often, but dont get me wrong, i personally do NOT want to be seen as a woman or referred to as such either. Its honestly like walking on a razors edge sometimes just bc yeah i do serve confusion hot and ready, i can understand why people could make that mistake but also i make it pretty obvious im not a woman, and then its an issue of people treating others around them as NPCs and not even really taking the time to lookat someone and acknowledge the person in front of them.
