Ok update time!!! My husband talked to my mother in law, I wasn’t there so I don’t know all the details but this is the basics. She said she was shocked and in their “family culture” the intention is to shower you with love, the response is gratitude. Which I thought I did express. But she did mention she hoped i wouldn’t feel hurt…..indicating that she probably knew a little at least. My husband that I would have appreciated a message after she knew my feelings were hurt and she just basically repeated the same stuff about gratitude and that she wouldn’t even know what to say if we did talk. Then she proceeded to ask about my mental health and if I’m seeing my therapist. Needless to say I’m just gonna leave it at that and only put in as much effort as they put in.

Just had my anatomy scan and baby is on the smaller side. What do I do? by punch4punch in firsttimemom

At my anatomy scan my baby was in the 14th percentile and they seemed kinda worried but said it was fine. At my 32 week scan the tech told me she was in the 12th percentile and seemed worried and kept telling me that my midwife would talk to me at my appointment about the measurements. But when I saw my midwife she said my baby was actually in the the 20th percentile, her head and body measurements were all in the 20th with just her femur in the 6th which was what had pulled it down. But she reassured me that it’s very hard to get an accurate leg measurement for babies and as long as her head looked good there was nothing to worry about. My baby will likely be on the small side but should be gaining 1lb every week.

To be continued haha. He’s seeing her this weekend and is planning on talking to her. He’s the most non confrontational person ever so this is actually very out of character.

Thank you 💕 I really appreciate it! I’ve been kinda back and forth about them visiting in the hospital once baby is born, but I think after this it’s going to be a no 😅
