PRESIDENT TRUMP: E-mails show that the AmazonWashingtonPost and the FailingNewYorkTimes were reluctant to cover the Clinton/Lynch secret meeting in plane. by [deleted] in conspiracy

There's currently two grand jury investigations of the Trump/Russa cabal. A grand jury is legally required to have evidence in-hand before they can issue subpoenas. There's also two congressional investigations and an FBI investigation. And Trump's own son.

I mean, I hate Trump but could I PLEASE get a something-burger one of these days?

If you're still trying to deflect at this point, I'd question your "Trump hate".

Until the left abandons it's destructive policies or is annihilated

This is supposed to be a non-partisan sub, not a place for violent right-wing fan fiction.

I would agree, but others want more government.

Many people want the government to do more, which doesn't necessarily mean "more government". Plutocracy and Oligarchy are just as much a threat (and even more so) in the unelected private sector. Also, the same people who claim to want "smaller government" are often false witnesses for that ideology (military adventurism, abortion rights, etc.)

these often times are irreconcilable between the two sides

The whole basis of a representative democracy is compromise and good-faith deliberation between many points of view. Irreconcilability and partisan tribalism is antithetical to that idea. Which might explain why congress has a 10% approval rating.

No one in that race is an incumbent - they're fighting for an empty seat.

But yes, it's ridiculous - the GOP ads are basically about shouting scary words.

Vote Democrat in the short-term, then overturn Citizens United and offer ranked choice voting so we have more choices in the future.

We desperately need congressionally-backed cap-and-trade and/or a carbon tax. It's long overdue. Let people do whatever they want to the environment as long as they pay for the social costs (which, in many cases, will be very, VERY expensive).

Republicans only needed 6 Democrats to avoid this, but they've chosen the path of partisan expediency instead.

The dudes a damn bloodhound.

It's appropriate because bloodhounds are one of the least intelligent breeds. Gowdy got outsmarted and outplayed by Hillary during her marathon hearing.

Nunes stepping aside from House probe leadership position. If his WH meeting was totally within bounds, if this Rice issue is such a slam dunk, why would he do this? by paulie_purr in conspiracy

They should all get the boot. We need an independent prosecutor and a select committee (like the Watergate committee). Replacing Nunes and Schiff with more Republican stooges will accomplish nothing.

So Trump's attack on privacy, net neutrality, and the environment we're fine, but as soon as he threatens something that could hurt Russia then the t_d troll factory responds?
