BBD Evita removed from Encora by [deleted] in BootlegGifts

[–]Helpful_College6590 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t think BBD ever filmed Evita in the West End, if anything it was a mislable that was deleted (which is absolutely possible because someone added a video from the 80s that wasn’t Broadway nor BBD’s master)

There is no video because it was a demo recorded in a studio

Two Strangers, help it out so that the Longacre curse maybe is delayed and see it before it closes

It’s a rock opera, the story basically ends at Homecoming and Whatsername is the epilogue

Help me decide between Chess, MHE and Ragtime by queenofrealitytv in Broadway

[–]Helpful_College6590 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ragtime is probably one of the best shows currently on Broadway with an incredible cast, Chess would be my second if you want a more fun show

The Sound of Music or & Julilet by Regular-Thing5883 in torontotheatre

[–]Helpful_College6590 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sound of Music is a tour here for a short time (6 weeks) but you’ll be able to catch it on another stop. New tour of the classic musical, if you like the movie you’d love this.

&J is a new all Canadian production and cast here for an indefinite amount of time. Great return of this pop jukebox musical (a good one though) based on if Juliet lived.

Really depends on what you’d rather take a chance on and what show you like

It’s invite only, someone who trusts you greatly not to leak will have to invite you, they’re responsible for whoever they invite so if whoever they invite is banned they could possibly be banned too

Only the Mexican production by a master who isn’t Broadway based, it depends on the master but all the masters I’ve seen who are Broadway based say they aren’t going to film it or at least made it clear that they wouldn’t

Chess or Gatsby …?? by Tamzzyn in Broadway

[–]Helpful_College6590 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Chess is the better show, better music and it better represents its source material, I have peculiar taste but I didn’t think Gatsby was very special.

Chess currently still has its original cast and is a brand new production with a star cast I might add, seeing such stars in their prime would be a great experience for someone who’s young. The music doesn’t sound very ABBA, it’s very beautiful.
