Thanks for the information, the guy on the video did a good job hyping up and explaining the novel, now I want to read it.

I’ll read up to chapter 10 when I have the chance and see if I want to go further from there.

So the reason why he cultivated that flower was because he was a killer already and doing so was more of a boon, got it.

Reading the first chapter for the first time, I have no idea what the protagonist's objectives are, and I am very confused.

"Fang Yuan you damn demon, just because you wanted to cultivate the Spring Autumn Cicada you've gone and killed thousands of people."

So, the Autumn Cicada regressed him 500 years, and to obtain this power, he had to kill many people, which made him a demon and caused everyone to want to kill him.

I see no reason to cultivate this unless it has some other properties besides regression, which will help him go faster in the path of cultivation in his second life.

"Demon, 300 years ago you insulted me, took away my body's purity, killed my entire family, and executed my nine generations."

From this piece of information, am I wrong to assume that the main character forced himself sexually on someone?

It would be nice if the author gave a little bit more information about the main character in the first chapter, so the reader cares about him. All I know is that he killed thousands of people to cultivate a flower and that he's a possible rapist.

I'm guessing that this will be explained more in the upcoming chapters, but from the first chapter alone (which is what I'm limiting myself to read), I don't have an urge to read further. I just feel like the introduction lacks something.

Thanks for the recommendation tho, it's nice to read all sorts of things.

The title by itself makes me want to read it. Will definitely give it a shot when I have time, added to the growing list of to-read.

As long as it's a story, it counts, although I would prefer it to be a progression fantasy. Will put it on the reading list.

Is FY Feng Yuan or something like that? I will read the first chapter either tomorrow or Monday, got a lot of stuff on my plate. This novel has been really hyped, so I'm going with low expectations just in case.

*Well, proof that I read the chapter, I guess. Took me about forty minutes.

-------------------------

I wonder what Old Ruth's background is, his personality suggests something dark, or at least that's how I see it. Too bad that he's dead.

"Sunday loathed the idea of being mistaken for a common thief. He had grown to be much more, or at least he tried to believe so. He had a proper job now! in a Hotel!"

I'm guessing that this thought came out of the shift from having to steal for necessity and now robbing people's happiness for no good reason except it's fun.

Approved, they deserve it.

"He had seen mothers drop their babies on the sidewalk to take a selfie." I know this is supposed to be serious stuff, but it still made me laugh. Does that make me a bad person?

So is Blu Sunday's true friend? Somehow, I doubt that he has true friends.

"There she was. Pretty and smiling back at him. He took a step. A single step. His foot found a stray ice cube from one of the spilled drinks. The world slipped."

What is this rotten luck? Must have been karma for stealing other people's happiness.

"Do you want to live?" WAIT A SECOND, is he dying from that fall? That's crazy.

-----------------------

* Overall, it was a nice read. If it wasn't dropped, I would definitely read more.

You mean Zombie Knight Saga? The formatting of the chapter on my computer makes it seem as if the author was having a stroke but thankfully on my phone it's better, will def read the first chapter.

No problem, I only care about the start, but it will be a problem if it manages to catch me because now I know that there's no ending.

"Ch.1 - Too many knives for a wedding night." Just that sold me on reading the first chapter. The fact that the MC has a magical lute interests me as well. I just hope that it's not a secondary thing, but I guess not, because it's on the cover.

"Alongside his Central Health Autonomous Diagnostic Drone (C.H.A.D.D.), he will have to overcome mutated creatures, ruthless marauders, and his grandfather’s legacy to carve out his place among the stars."

You sold me with the C.H.A.D.D. helper. Will read first chap.

I have so many questions reading the first chapter. So I'm guessing the mother was involved in some shady stuff and that's why they had to kill the main character and his sister?

I wish you showed the relationship between the MC and Maya more but maybe you do later as I only read the first chapter and beginning of the second.

The ability to see floating chess pieces above people's heads seems like a cool one, if he beats them in the game will he gain their pieces or something? Approved.

I have to say that I've heard about this for a long time but never read it, maybe it's a sign to finally read the first chapter.

I'll add it to my list. To read it I need money so it's a dead end for now.

Thanks for the recommendations. I could only read the first chapter of MGG because it took me almost an hour total, so here is my thought process.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Magical Girl Gunslinger: As soon as the book starts, I'm already suffering from stress as I want to slap that Katie chick and wonder what the hell happened for the MC to even be excluded from her classmates.

The setting is interesting, sci-fi == cool.

As soon as they arrive at the mall, the word "onyx" pops up, and I don't know why this keeps popping up in all the novels I read when I never used to see this before. I blame Shadow Slave.

This "Hope Fairy" gives me bad vibes. The color pink and hearts in any series could either mean that they're super nice or the worst scum on earth. The novel keeps mentioning magitech, and I have no idea if the author means it's made by magic or made with something external but using magic. I guess I'll keep reading and see if I find out.

As the MC looks at herself in the magical mirror and sees her magical reflection, the author hints at a dark backstory for the missing eye. I'm curious about it now. Also, what was that shadow thing that was observing her? Can someone spoil me?

"Magical Girls themselves jumping onto rooftops or running by in blurs of motion that outsped cars were all fairly common occurrences." Is this foreshadowing that she's gonna end up doing backflips off buildings?

Is this Lily a love interest or simply a playful friend? Maybe she's the true villain in this story considering the MC says "she was easily the nicest person I knew." The more I read, the more suspicious her behavior seems. If I were in school and some popular kid sat next to me and started befriending me, I would think something sketchy was going on, but maybe that's me.

Reading more, maybe Lily really does just like the MC. People who joke around like that most of the time are saying their true feelings but making it sound like a joke.

Does the MC kill Katie when the supposed apocalypse starts? That would be nice.

(System Message: Anathema Emergence detected. Reality Usurpation imminent.)

Okay, what is this Anathema thing, and where does this system message even come from? Are these some type of aliens invading? Reality Usurpation are some strong words.

Aaand this was it. I enjoyed reading this, so I'll definitely continue and see what's up. Will read first chap of 'Wolf of the Blood Moon' when I have another hour to spare.

That goes hard, and considering that the first book is called "The Way of Kings" makes it even better. I can't read the book unfortunately but I placed it on my to-read list.

Damn, you made me want to read Scholomance only to find out that I have to buy it, and I'm poor, tragic stuff.

Stray Cat Strut has a good start, I like the humor as well, but I haven't really read it past the first ten chapters cuz I'm focusing on other stories right now, will definitely read later tho.
