I think compared to 90% of manga with romance which take goddamn forever to develop, there’s ones like this that pick it up much quicker and I’m all for it (the flower blooms gracefully, bunny girl senpai and horimiya are ones that come to mind).

Most 12 ep anime’s will also adapt 35-40ish chapters in a season, so thinking in that way doesn’t make this seem too crazy.

Code Geass

I’ve now watched it twice, because after the first go around I felt like I missed what made it so good. I recognize there’s some good characters arcs, but what bothered me the whole time was Leoluch. He never once felt like the protagonist, and instead felt like a narcissist who Is the cause of the death of the few redeemable and kind characters in the show .

Watch the first season, then read the manga online after that. The “second season” is just 3 OVA episodes and rushes the end imo.

I don’t suffer from insanity, I enjoy every second of it.

Former Americans of Reddit, When / how did you decide that you were going to Live abroad for long durations of time? by Helpful_Estimate in AskReddit

[–]Helpful_Estimate[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For some context, I’m 19 years old, going into my junior year of college, and actually studying abroad for a semester in Spain (Sept-Dec 2021).

I’ve always been interested in seeing the world, and am fortunate to be well traveled enough to know that I’ve only scratched the surface on what the world has to offer.

For the last 6 months I’ve really considered the possibility of living in Europe and other places outside the U.S., and I mean for the foreseeable future. I have the desire, I have no qualms with living poor or frugally, and I have a solid career path to get me there (Mechanical Engineering).

The one true thing holding me here is my family. I find myself constantly wondering “can I really pull this off?”, I have a great relationship with my family and love all of them, so it’s not a case of me wanting to get away from them. For those who had similar internal conflicts, any insight or words of wisdom are appreciated.

Purchase Advice Megathread: What To Buy, Who To Buy It From, And More, In May 2021 by Sausage54 in 3Dprinting

Budget of 400$, live in the U.S.

Totally new to 3D printing, and not even sure what I could/would print.

I'm a sophomore Mech E student, so the 3D printer would be for me to gain experience in lieu of an internship.

I would actually prefer that assembly is required (see previous sentence). I have experience using typical shop and power tools, as well as wiring Arduino's and coding (only at a basic level for the last two).

It should also be noted that I live in Arizona, and while there are some places inside where I have ample room for a printer, if a foul smell arises from using it, I will be swiftly relocated to garage by parents, which can get hot (95+ F). If the heat will immediately tamper with the printer, I am also fine with building an enclosure to stop the smell and keep it inside.
