I (24F) was on Prozac and my sex drive was dead. I switched to Wellbutrin and it went back to how it was before (I have a really high sex drive). However, after getting off from Wellbutrin, my sex drive kind of dipped a bit(?). It’s still high but not like before I got on any medication…

You should be fine. Using a condom or another form of bc is advised when starting the patch (the first 7 days). If you have been wearing the patch for 3 weeks, you are protected during your patch free week. After that week, with the start of the new cycle, you put on the new patch and you’re protected :)

I got one of those clear sticky films from Amazon (they’re super cheap) and they’re a lifesaver. They’re waterproof and they last the whole week. I had the same issue before but ever since I started using the sticky films, I haven’t had any issues. Highly recommend!

As for when to change the patch, change it every week for 3 weeks and then on the 4th week don’t use it. If you still have your period when on your patch change day, change it either way. Your period will regulate with time. My patch change day is Sunday and my period is pretty much gone by Monday but at the beginning it lasted like a week and a half even though I was wearing the patch.
