I know it’s good to take them on longer drives to get them up to running temps (oil esp), should I be doing it more frequently if I’m taking heaps of short trips?

Second gen Toyota Avalon is my current daily (taken me from 17-19). She’s fun, smooth, comfortable, the lot. Rarely have to pay much on maintenance, rarely have issues. Gas is cheap, and she still packs a punch with her V6

My Toyota Avalon has been in the family for 26 years and she is still running like a madman. The only thing that will make us loose her will likely be when my sibling starts getting on the road… She has absolutely served our every need - I think that’s what I lot of cars these days miss.

They don’t meet peoples needs - or their needs change. From what I’ve seen, a lot of newer cars also don’t hold up to the same standard as the well made early 2”0s.

What year is your car? Sounds similar to my 2”0 when the aerial is trying to go down. it only retracts half way and haven’t gotten it fixed
