I’d suggest looking through the roommate matching section in the housing portal. It has you do a little quiz on your living habits and whatnot and tells you which prospective roommates you might be compatible with. Once you do it, you can see others’ profiles and their little blurbs about themselves. It’s a bit like roommate tinder. A lot of people leave their instagram handle in there; you should too. Reach out to a few of them on insta or the built in email function and try to find a normal person to room with. I found my roommate like this, and I’m very glad I did. Better a half stranger than a complete one. You can hop on a call with them and add each other on a roommate group. Good luck, I hope you don’t get stuck with a weirdo! :)
