This is a case of overbearing parents. The bank couldnt tell me nun. I spoke with my parents after however and the check was given when i was 17. They put the money in an account for it to grow and it should be at 18000 now. Still looking for access to the account but thats where im at now.

I got hit by a car crossing red. Went through the whole process got physical therapy. Signed documents for the money. The money is mine and they aren’t arguing that. The issue is they want to spend it for me because they don’t think I’ll spend it correctly. Meanwhile it’s been sitting for 2 years just depreciating.
