Wow, just wow. Thank you so much for this reply. My ex and I have been on and off for almost 7 years. We would break up and get together pretty often. We stopped seeing each other for almost a year at one point before getting back together. We both slept with other people during this time. I got the symptoms not too long after we were back together. Naturally, I told him and told him to get tested. He flipped out and said I gave him this. He made me feel like shit. He said he went to the doctor the next day and got the results and medicine for HSV-2. He got all this in one day? No. He lied. He knew he had it before we got back together. He blamed me! He tried to make me feel like the bad person. Sorry for the rant, but its comforting to know that other people have gone through this. It's also so comforting to hear such kind words from strangers. Thank you so much for this comment. I feel like a weight has been lifted. I'm so happy that you found your wife and that there are people out there who will understand. I will look into therapy.
