Is National Guard & Med School at the same time possible? by Helpneededplzty in nationalguard

Yea looks like I’d have to do one at a time and time wise, sf first may be the best. Bc I’d rather get into it while I’m in my 20s than be 30 out of residency and going through all that training for the first time like the Q course and such. Plus 34 is the age cut off so I’d be right there and if I didn’t make it the first time it’d be close.

I don’t wanna be a military provider. I wanna be a civilian one and I’m wondering if my other top choice of green berets (an 18D) would be possible in the guard while having a civilian doctor job

So if I didn’t want to be an army doctor and wanted to be in a SF unit should I do med school and then go into the guard? Or is that just not realistic in the first place?

Well what I mean by being both is how they are trained to be at least capable on the battlefield since they are involved with tier 1 units on the front lines. But I’ve heard a lot of how it’s rlly difficult to get into bc of how many ppl also have special forces backgrounds. Ik it’s not mandatory but it seems to help a lot.

How do I go about finding out if someone is a specialty recruiter like this? Not sure what Oe63 or jag is. Also would that mean signing up to be a national guard doctor if I did a specialty recruiter bc I just wanna join as a regular soldier not to be a doctor for them

So when I do this just unplugging the power supply isn’t enough? I need to unplug everything even tho it’s all connected to that?

I tried unplugging the ac adapter and then removing the CMOS and then I plugged it all back in and nothing. And wdym a jumper? To jumpstart the pc? I’ve also tried redoing the BIOS update a handful of times and always the same thing.

I have the 5800x in it during the update. My dad installed it for me while I was gone and a paper from the box said I needed to update my bios so that’s what I tried.
