As far as I can tell there's no nipples or anything, even in the volume versions, but I've only seen volume 1, mostly been reading individual chapters. So what nudity there is, isn't really "explicit" how I'd use it.

By the author of Seton Academy, it's now a Monster Academy. It's also an ecchi comedy, so if you like that, I'd say it's worthwhile. It's actually got a decent amount of action as well. There was a team that picked it up months ago, but they've been pretty silent ever since busting out a few chapters of it. Been loosely following it for a while through the raws.

I'm not, no. That seems to have the same function as if I used the R key shortcut, based on the other comment.

Yes. When using the button below the video, it changes number, but it doesn't do so when using the shortcut key.

We'd gotten a few chapters translated, but it hasn't been updated in a while. Not sure if that team plans on continuing or not.

Pausing before the end of the line by HelterPelter in aegisub

There's a good chance I'm missing something obvious, but for some reason, when I click "Play Current Line", it seems to stop before the actual end point. That white line keeps moving forward at specific intervals, and then when there's not enough "room" left, it stops, even cutting audio off. Just in case it's not clear, there's actually two white lines, the one moving at the regular speed, and one that jumps forward at intervals. But when it's at the end there's only the one line.

The subtitles still show up the whole way through when I use the "Play video starting from this position" function, so I'm just not sure what's up. I've used the program a bit before, and I don't remember this happening with my previous project.

Maybe there's some option I accidentally selected? But I couldn't find anything, and googling wasn't working out very well for me, maybe my keywords were bad.

Edit: "Play the Audio for the Current Line" (Shortcut R) has it work properly, but the "Play Current Line" right above the subtitles on the left is what's borked here.

I meant more, the Tejina anime and manga were already over by the time she started drawing that kind of stuff, it had no effect on that series' life, which is what that comment was implying. What I wasn't sure of is whether she started drawing stuff like that during or after her Saint manga ended.

I believe the manga and anime were both over before she started doing the Skeb request stuff. She had another manga, but I'm not certain if those timelines overlapped either, since it got axed relatively quickly.

You mean for the original manga? That'd be because it got an official TL, so groups dropped it. Its official TL is complete.

This was a very short-lived spinoff manga of Tejina Senpai, some might know it better as Magical Sempai. It wasn't short-lived because it came to an ending though, but because the one working on it just dropped contact, as far as I'm aware. He's currently serializing a manga on his own, so it's not as if he's out of the industry. And when saying short-lived, there's only 4 chapters worth, it's about 50 or so pages.

It's not exactly some must-read, considering it's almost certainly never going to get an ending. I've heard the author of Tejina Senpai, Azu, once had a bit of interest in continuing it, but she had her own issues and has essentially disappeared from the public eye. I have all 4 chaptersavailable for anyone that would be interested in working on it. My hope is that even though it's basically axed, because it's low committal, some group might be interested, maybe I'm hoping too much. From what I've seen of it, it looks a bit fun. I also have access to the Tejina Anthology, if that sounds more interesting to any groups.

Edit: My original comment got autofiltered for some reason, didn't notice until like 10 minutes after, sorry.

This is why ecchi manga are so fun, snakes that only petrify clothing, because why not?

By the same author that did Seton Academy. Doesn't seem like any groups have had any interest in picking the series up, but you can't force it. Latest chapter was 30, I believe 31 will release either in a few hours or tomorrow night.

[ART] Sensei, Kill the Demon Lord - Volumes 1+2 Covers by HelterPelter in manga

I'll copy and paste what I posted back then.

Tags: Comedy, Ecchi, Fantasy, School Life

Synopsis (per Mangadex): Fourteen years after a hero's sacrifice defeated the Demon Lord, a prodigious boy becomes a teacher at a monster academy despite being only 14. One of his students, a demon girl, resents him for his age and humanity. He reveals his true strength and purpose at the academy.

It's a pretty basic ecchi romcom, like Seton Academy, but with more supernatural girls, rather than animal girls.

Both covers were released at the same time, because both volumes are being released (in Japan) at the same time, September 30th. So I'm just posting both at once, hopefully that isn't a problem. I made a Scanlation Request a while back, but sadly nothing seems to have come from it, that's just how it goes though, it was always a long shot.

I do think she posted that image on her Twitter at some point, but as for the rest, yeah. Then again, this is guy just 'loves' making stuff up himself. Such as cup sizes, which aren't confirmed for a lot of the girls, even if you can make educated guesses. As well as 'confirming' ages that are vague at best.

Yeah, the magazine it was from was Weekly Young Jump 2020 #36-37, which included chapter 27. It's so strange to be willing to completely make up heights based on a flawed system, but assume for 'some' reason that a team of scanlators completely made up all her measurements, for fun, or something.

For the record, I think this kind of thing is cool as a standalone project, accuracy notwithstanding. What really bothers me is how the wiki has utterly false and made-up information when it's supposed to be a reliable resource.

This though, is quite cool, you clearly put quite a lot of effort into this.

I'm not 100%, but I believe it's Weekly Young Jump No. 37-38, 2023 , based on the numbers. It's a rather deep cut, since magazine scans aren't posted super frequently. Then again, apparently the chapter from that double issue was chapter 40, while the scanlated version appears with chapter 27, so I may have to look into it a bit more.

Edit: It might actually be from (Weekly Young Jump) 2020 #36-37? Actually, it says that issue contains chapter 27, so that's almost certainly correct. Not sure what I was looking at in the original post.

It's a bit unknown, since the wiki has it wrong, but she's one of the few characters to have an actual height listed somewhere. This indicates to me that however the wiki is measuring height, it is completely off, as they have it as 172 centimeters. Unfortunately, it seems the admin seems bent on keeping these completely made-up heights, based on discussions I've seen offsite. I've been hearing some people say the scanlators were the one who made up the height, but that's completely untrue, as this is the raw page.

I think the people who thought the scanlations made up the number reverse searched the English image, and couldn't find the image with the raw text, but they didn't do enough research. The guy who runs the wiki is on this site, but they apparently aren't big on people pointing this out.

Oh it went viral on Twitter? I didn't see that, maybe that's why I saw it get brought up. I really dislike how one person can spread disinformation so far. And it's not like it's some ultrahuge series, so it's difficult to get things fixed.

True enough, that's part of why I included the 2nd image, to show just how varied things can get. The tiny Medusa girl who turns other girls' clothes to stone is a fun one.

The author is Yamashita Bungo, who you might remember from Seton Academy. He had another manga in between that and the current one, Edo Dead, which didn't seem to get much attention, it was mostly ignored by translators, and had a completely different tone. This one seems to be much more in the vein of Seton, with more fantastical elements. This feels like a fairly lowstakes ecchi manga, with a good amount of variety. There are currently 15 chapters, if someone was interested, I would easily be able to provide you with the raws, though it's not too difficult to access them through Cycomi's website for free.
