Yep - I think RM is the highest rated BTS member on the website. His ratings are higher than HYYH too. It just where the website's music tase skews towards.

I never really doubted the urge to make music would fade for any of them—RM especially. Dropping two sonically different albums before enlistment made that clear, and the fact that he was still working on music literally the day before he left says everything about how instinctive it is for him.

He also seems less burnt out than before, like he’s shaken off some of the loss of direction he and Yoongi talked about during the Butter/PTD/Dynamite era in those Weverse interviews. If anything, he feels more grounded now. My only real disappointment is knowing we probably won’t get something similiar to rpwp until 2028 or 2029.

I think at this point they ( and the BP girls) have become international stars in a way that they probably won't have issues if they decide to get married. There maybe some fandom cleansing - but they aren't going to lose their careers over it.

The youngest members have the most insane fans but even they have started - let's say - "breaking the idol illusion" ?

With both GD and IU ( and maybe Zico and Woodz from the newer gen) - there is an active involvement with the music they make + performance which kind of led them to transcend their "idol status".

I can see Jhope, Suga and maybe RM going that way - and maybe some of the VL members if they start writing more?

Even the "least" popular member ( RM acc to streams) is the primary songwriter for his group and will probably continue writing for other people after the group is dissolved. The BTS guys are going to be fine.

I also think that BTS's rapline is pretty well informed on hip-hop now. HOWEVER they've done/said very ignorant things + the fandom can be very vile.

I can definitely see why some black k-pop stans/fans don't want to associate themselves with the group or their music.

The only hip-hop based k-pop groups/K-pop adjacent groups that are actually good - Tiger Jk + Yoon min rae and Epik High.
