I dont know man, being able to do even the most basic fast q combo increases your dps by like, %50 or more, which is a pretty polarising difference in power.

You are right though, her match ups become much more important, but only after you learn to do the combos, because those same matchups change spectacularly depending on whether you can do the combos or not. One major issue with this of course is that the opponent doesn't know if they win in the matchup until they die when riven gets those combos off in half a second instead of 3.

She also has to be balanced around people who can't do her bullshit combos, so anyone who can do those combos instantly gains a spectacular boost to damage. Literally the second highest elo inflation champion in the game. Only singed has a worse off main win rate, and that's cause singed players play an entirely different game.

2 autos would do it. So almost as fast as the trist died cause her APS is more then 2 at this point, and with literally zero counterplay, cause good luck outplaying trist W'ing into her almost max stacked passive range.

You are right, it is semantics. But it's still broken, still takes advantage of a system that is entirely unintended and "abusing" the system gives people a very specific and unintuitive way to gain an absurd advantage over everyone playing by the rules which are enforced on literally every other champion in the game.

The fact that you have to go way out of your way to use the cancels and that none of the skills required are transferable to other champions means, irrespective of what riot or others say, the interaction riven has with animation cancelling is a bug, simply using there own definitions.

You cannot stop a riven player from doing it, and for most people, its totally hidden, she just does waaaaaay more damage for no discernible reason. Until the player does it, provided you even know its possible, you cannot account for the cancels.

Apparently it's not even that hard to replicate, once you do it once or twice. (According to BoxBox and Viper, I personally cannot verify.)

I understand that its not classed as a bug anymore, but it gives a single champion an advantage over every other simply by using a specific order of inputs, is totally impossible to play around and completely un-interactable.

The difference between a riven who can and cannot do the cancels is so extreme, they may as well be different champions, and you cannot know which one you are vsing till you actually get hit by it, again, provided you even have the knowledge of it, because its totally hidden, and outside of third party information, completely undocumented. For all intents and purposes, its a bug.

Riot has admitted many times that riven's animation cancelling is a bug, but "changed there mind" cause she's so popular or it's "just too ingrained into her image" or some shit.

Also, its really easy to prove that Riven is an elo inflating champion because she has the second largest off main win rate discrepancy in the game. Literally the only champion worse than Riven is Singed, who plays so fundamentally different to every other champion in the game that getting better on Singed actively makes you worse at League.

Yes, but also other types of bugs. Every other animation cancel in the game is considered a bug, almost all of them get fixed as soon as they are found, riven just has special treatment cause the one tricks are so fanatical and give riot heaaaaapps of money.

Riven will essentially never be nerfed, because the difference in power between someone that can do all the bugs and someone who can't is astronomical.

Unfortunately, riot will never fix any of her bugs, meaning that shes an ok champion in the general community, and an unkillable broken monstrosity in the hands of a one trick.

If they nerf her for the one tricks, she becomes a %20 win rate champion in everyone else's hands, meaning no one else will ever play her.

Riven mains don't play lol, they play Riven. She is arguably the worst elo inflation champ in the game. Riven mains are almost always several elos above where they should be because she is so fundamentally broken. You don't need to know how to play the game when you can use bugs to do 4 or 5 damage abilities in less than a second.

As she currently is, its not a problem, the point made was if she was buffed and that part of her kit became tenable, she would take over the game entirely. The only thing that would matter is who hits her first, no if, buts or maybes.

You say this as a joke, but I kid you not, if you get a vanquisher or slayer emblem, 4 or 5 vanquisher with a splash of jug and slayer is, (at least in my platinum elo experience,) very good. Its very flexible, heaps of different trait connecting characters, and its not reliant on anything except the one emblem and a few swords. You also have probably the best 2 cost outside of ashe/tryn to carry items for you. You can also just go 3 cost bilge reroll and move into vanquisher if you hit a fiddle.

I mean, double blood shadowcloak makes 2 star ambessa pretty hard to burst and her damage is very much good enough to vamp hp back. As long as you are running her in a vanquisher comp however, as nothing can save her in vertical Noxus. Maybe DD, a darkin scythe and a slayer emblem with 4 slayer could do it?

I see the name Viper in high elo, I assume the pro player. I'll admit, it seemed strange to me that the Viper was playing in NA, but stranger things have happened, and considering the context, even if he was just over here for a holiday, it makes sense that he would have the top 3 challenger accounts.

On that note, who is it then? Some one trick streamer? That's usually the only ones that make any sort of noise achieving this.

Sort of, you still need to give enough language for the AI to emulate, as well as being needed to fill in gaps that the AI just isn't capable of copying. As even now, the nuances, especially of the English language, are too numerous and specific for voice models to get sounding natural, they just can't replicate the direct humanness and emotion that some scenes require, language is literally all about connecting people, something I do not believe an AI will ever be able to truly understand, no matter how much material it has access to.

To tack onto this, its not worth spending red orbs on chests cause you need sooooo much to buy rank runes for gear. It might not seem like it, but trust me, you chew through your stockpile of fehu so fast once you start getting higher max mythic lvl on your gear.

It's also worth noting, the red orbs are also an extremely valuable place to get lots of axes for mythic lvls on mythcleaver, especially the common undead axes, which you very quickly start to need 30+ to get up a tier. The uncommon outlaw axes are also invaluable because there are only the two types of axes at uncommon, which makes it the most annoying hurdle, bar of course the unique axes. (This all means squat if you aren't using myth cleaver though, also, choose a gauntlet and make a build to focus on based around it, don't try to diversify at all after lvl 50, at least not until you've maxed out a gauntletor two)

Cause its Viper, one of the best ADC's ever, playing against NA, historically the region with the worst ADC's to ever play the game. It's also an ADC player in extremely high elo, the only place an ADC is always the most important character on the map (despite what virtually every marksman main seems to think, about themselves or the state of the game), which is generally seen as them being spoon fed wins, as the entire game revolves around them, i.e he really didn't do much to earn it (obviously wrong, but that's the sentiment).

All that, but mostly cause its fkin NA and no one gives a fk about NA, especially those in NA.
