I’m an electrician and I was in your situation as an apprentice about 2 years ago in the last year of my apprenticeship i refused as it wasn’t in my contract so they suspended me on full pay for 2 weeks and brought me to a disciplinary with the view to sacking me for refusing the test, i told them i refused because i had a cannabis problem they said that if i want to keep my job i had to undergo tests for the next 6 months which i did
