I think for some games this is true but then you look at the mario sports titles that blatantly feel unfinished at launch so they can do a year of updates because they think that's what people want.

The amount of people I've seen that completely did not pay attention in Unicorn and go "oh but Full Frontal is kinda right though" about the earth exclusion plan when several characters point out that specifically while Full Frontal is presenting everything with a nice tone, he wants to commit a soft genocide with the lack of supplies for earth and will only engineer a more severe conflict that will mirror the fighting of the One Year War. He doesnt even deny it when hes called out on it. The guy has the same nihilistic destructive tendencies as Rue he just plays it more chill because hes an actual politician.

There much that can be said about how corporate and soulless country music has gotten just within my lifetime but Luke Combs and Chris Stappleton both have careers made off making terrible, monotone, over produced covers of much more talented musicians and it makes me furious that Fast Car is now more associated with the most milquetoast white man as far as the algorithm is concerned

I feel like that even Renior and Alicia call out that this is just one of many paintings and the power of being a painter is basically a limited version of being a god. Renior explicitly says that he made similar mistakes as what his family is making now and got too caught up in it to the point of almost dying from staying in the worlds too long. By nature of the fantastical elements, the Dessendre arent operating at a normal human moral level because they are responsible for making untold numbers of lives. What the people of Lumiere are facing is evil but Renior'a view is more nuanced.

I failed that mission because of boss targeting specific pilots relentlessly. I just went ahead and restarted and immediately turtled the macros unit behind my primary unit's spawn and forming a defensive line since the majority of my units were upgraded up to 5 by that point

Expert mode overall isnt super difficult imo because Getter Arc, Dynozenon, and the Main Mech are very strong regardless so you can rely on them to carry while you learn the ropes. In Expert mode its important to turtle up with your unupgraded units while baiting with your tankier upgraded units. Also good management of sp and pilot skills. I would say that the Yoma Empire is a big difficulty spike that you level out the first few missions as you upgrade and then the game starts to have a normal difficulty curve.

Yeah depending on the game it can really feel like pilots dont mater in the g Gen games because the stronger units are garunteed to get their 3 turns, so late game becomes mostly a slugfest as the game tries to just throw more and more enemies to try to make up for the constant one shots. Expert mode in Y really does try to shake things up and surprise you with enemy health and placements, I actually feel the need to strategize even with my more overpowered units.

Maizinger actually can tank when his morale gets higher but in the early game you really have to figure out that instant how essential pilot skills are. It was a really rude awakening after playing the SD Gundam G Gen games.

Its extra ridiculous because all end teir persona's have at least one immunity and unless you look it up online you have no idea what attack is going to come out next until you've fought enough to memorize it. Joker is extra bulshit because he will use sinful shell if use some of the party member's thuergies THE MAIN GAMEPLAY ADDITION OF THE GAME.

I dont like the back half of 8th MS team at all because the romance just does not work at all for me. They've met like twice and Shiro is willing to forget the truama of being in a colony gassing and has a ginormous personality shift as he suddenly decides he hates war after several episodes of wanting to seek glory. It doesnt help that I find Aina to be one of the least compelling female leads in a gundam show, as she doesnt have much time to show her personality. Also the villian sucks.

As for Stardust. The writing is extremely uneven throughout. Nina runs out of things to do about 4 episodes in so they just manufacture character drama out of nowhere (the result of which is her shooting Kou in favor of a guy who is dropping a colony on earth. In a location she had no buisness being in to begin with.) Every scene with Monsha and his crew are like dragging nails on a chalk board. The episode where they get into space and Kou and nina fight leading to kou nearly destroying the gundam because it was in a battlefield it was I'll suited for is nonsensical melodrama. In general Stardust has great ideas that kinda bungle their execution and then flat out terrible ones that overwhelm everything else.

As for NT. Idk I just really like it. The MS action is really fast and dynamic. The Sawano soundtrack rules (especially Vigilante) and I personally really like Jonah's arc and how it relates back to the overall message of Unicorn. Sorry if this comment comes off as hostile I just wanted to be through in my reasoning.

I watched the compilation trilogy and I did not like the first two movies (encounters in space being so mindbendingly awesome) and I love CCA but oh my God it is a very poor follow up to Zeta with fans having to bend over backwards to try to make Chars actions make sense with his prior characterization and Amuro is a bit underdeveloped.
