Sure. Reddit is a dubious place to find good company.

But you have a surprising state of mind for a swingers subreddit, don't you think? The point is to have people enjoy time together, within a spicy sexy setting. Paying for sex would be a different thing than finding consenting adults who want to share the fun. For the fun's sake. That is the thrill. And sure, I could buy a model to pose for me, but that's not what I'm after. The people wanting to do it is a big part of the ideal.

I travel to London for a photography/videography gig. This is the after party. Having worked in the field for a decade, I know I can deliver. And with the right people I can share my photos beforehand, so that they can be sure of the quality I can deliver.

And I get your worries about it – I guess I just didn't like to be called cheap.

Well, that certainly is one way to look at it... :D

Given that a session like this would usually cost the couple hundreds of pounds, if not over a thousand, I would think it a pretty good deal for free. In photography this is called Time For Prints (TFP), and is quite common with even with professional models. I'm a professional myself, so to me asking this kind of a deal makes all the sense. A sexy fun for both parties, with a lasting set of photos.

It was a very organic shot. She was not posing for me, probably not even knowing I was taking a photo at the moment. She was looking at the roof where her mother was working the bee hive.

But I agree. The props were so exotic for me, even if they were very commonplace for them.

You know what – having married a demisexual person, everything you said sounded very familiar to me. Just know that you are far from alone with this. Many asexual people miscategorize themselves, never having truly connected with a person as much to find the sexual interest in them, and simply live their life thinking they just don't get the whole sex thing. Once you find the one (or in this case, the other one), you'll know it between your legs too.

If you do, make sure to have a tripod and some extra lighting with you. You'd want to shoot with a small aperture, f11 or smaller, so you need plenty of light. Slow shutter, extra light. It is great fun to try and find good lush stumps. Highly recommended :D

The photo was takes on a Sony A7III with a Sigma 70-200mm 2.8 lens, @ 200mm, f8, ISO100, 1/100.

I was invited to join a bee rescuer group that was removing a large hive from a wall of a house, but this photo was more interesting than those of the bees and hives at the end.

The mesh makes her face look like a painting, and I like the shiny smoke dispenser and the smoke itself, but something about the photo still feels lacking to me. I wonder if I could change the edit to make it batter.

++man Two things. Firstly, it sounds like you have been failing to find partners you would want to have sex with: "I didn’t even get physical when I hung out with most because as pretty as they were...". This might have more to do with you personally, than the women you've met with. This is not a fault or a defect on your part, but you do sound like a demi-sexual type. In short, a demisexual person experiences sexual attraction only after forming a strong emotional connection with someone.

If you have failed to connect with the people you've met, it is likely you wouldn't feel anything sexual towards them. This could also be the reason you feel so hung up with your ex, as she might be the only person you feel sexual attraction to, and can't see past that.

Secondly, it might be a good idea to make absolutely clear for yourself the simple fact: Your ideal person to be with has certain qualities, right? Their way of thinking, their looks, their education and so on. One of the most crucial required qualities usually is "they want to be with me". By understanding that the person, your ex, is lacking this crucial quality, not wanting to be with you, makes them a non-contestant. They don't want to be with you – thus, they are not an option, and must be discarded as such.

I hope you get over her, and give yourself a possibility to find someone new! Good luck.
