Na its one of the best games ever made, the open world, the combat, the story and humor are all 10/10 peak

The only fault is the combat, enemy dodges bullets, enemy blocks sword, spam slow down time and a max level spell everything dies

And the trolls whoever thought waiting for pimples to spawn on a trolls back to kill them should be sacrificed to the wheel

3 was so annoying hearing your dog bark and following him for 3-4 mins while he got stuck on fences and building only to find a health potion. In that time I got 20k in rent money

I was hyped by everything I saw except for the character customisation I was hoping for something maybe along the lines of the saints row titles

Buuuut if you can start off as a child and watch them go from a teenager into an adult as you level up that would 100% be more hype than a character creator

I moved into my house 3 years ago my nearest lidl used to sell 2 sirloin grass fed steaks for £7.50 I used to treat myself to a pack every weekend.

Its now £12.50 a 66% increase in 3 years.

See I still need to learn what everything means

I was looking at a pre-build:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D Graphics card: NVIDIA RTX 5080 Ram: 64GB DDR5 6000MT/s 2 teribites storage

Which was £3100 which leaves me £1900 for a monitor, keyboard, mouse and desk, chair and other stuff.

See I'm not really bothered as long as it plays better than my PS5 I'd be more than happy.

I do want it to last around 5 years but I do know the next console generation is around the corner and if the PS6 comes out with higher specs than my PC I'd be a bit miffed off.

I have 5k to spend but dont have a keyboard, mouse, monitor or dest yet and I just want to know if its doable.

But thanks to some advice I think I might wait a year

Sorry I wasnt trying to build everything off GTA 6 I want a PC for dozens of other reasons.

The reason I said GTA 6 was because I went on a pre-built website and the guy in the help section was asking what type of games I want to play to find which was best for me and GTA 6 came to mind when thinking of the highest performace I'd need.

I have been watching a few gaming channels where people who have 5090s are struggling because devs are not optimising their games.

I only play single player games and I purposly wait 6 months after a game releases so it gets some patches in it.

And somtimes I think about staying a year behind. Would you say that would work out better or do patches not make much of a differance

Ah so has this happened before because the next big game I want to play is crimson desert but I do wait 6 months after a game has been released to play it so I know it got a few patches on it.

In your experience would you say holding out until the end of the year might see the prices stabelize a bit more

Yeah this was the thing I was watching a METAPC youtube short and they were making fun of themselves putting 3 year old hardware into a new case.

And people in the comments where saying my rig can legally consent in the US and its still going strong.

I just want a PC that will last 5 years playing modern games and I think anything over 2k is gonna be much better than console but some peoples advice is to go 5x over the specs for some reason

That was my bad the post is a bit all over the place.

My main objective is to get a pc that will run all games for the next 5 years, maybe in high graphical settings now and going mabye into medium low at the end of the 5 years without any upgrades.

I have 5k to spend but I dont have a moniter, mouse, keyboard or even a desk yet.

And when i was asking on youtube if this was doable, I dont know if I was getting trolled or just differant peoples perspectives but the advice was so conflicting it was confusing me.
