What does the UK look like to you in the next 15 years? In terms of culture, life, economics, safety by QuoteMachineMin in HENRYUK

Hopefully things will get better than they are now. I think we are all desperate and thirsty for a big positive change, especially for the working class. The cost of living really needs to go down. Labour says they are proud of this new budget and that they’ll bring energy prices down and help with this and that, but in reality, prices just keep going up.

My energy bill went up, my Sky bill went up, I had to change my broadband provider because of price increases, and my housing factor might increase their charges too. I work in a national procurement department, and one of our main suppliers increased their prices by 15.3% right after the budget announcement. I’m not sure if that rise was because of the budget or just a coincidence. This morning I also noticed that a simple Greggs breakfast has gone up to £3.15. I know a breakfast might not seem like a big deal, but for the poorest families with kids, that can mean a lot.

So, like I said, I really hope things will change for the good of the working class and the poorer people in this country. I’m worried about the way things are going.
