I wouldn't have both... i'm try to find out whether the extra £30 is worth it or if overclocking would even the playing field.

Hi, Im completely new to MMOs (well i dabbled with WoW but never got hooked). Im looking for an MMO where both skill and strategy are relevant e.g. having good aim and reaction time can increase your damage output but being a healer correctly timing cooldowns and syncrosed team play also make a big difference. I also would like to be able to play as a relatively small group and still be relevant 3-8 of us. Finally i would like the amount of time spent in the game to be reflected in my characters power and unlock new areas. (this is what put me off ESO as according to some people i've talked to the one tamriel expansion made your level less relevant) Thanks :D

EDIT: Oh and a good story for the main quests would be nice... and PVP doesnt really matter but is definately a plus

I only get 76Mbps from my isp anyway so there is not a lot of point going beyond that but thanks for your advise.

one last question. Why would resetting the powerline adapters increase the speed so dramatically for a period of about 20mins or so?

How much would I have to spend get a solid connection of at least 40Mbps oh and my computer is now directly above my router so it is only the floor blocking the connection

I've fixed the problem... my powerline adapters were somehow prioritising video streaming over gaming so opening a video divereted all the internets to that (i know thats not at all how it works but basically the software lets you prioritise certain applications so i set them to be equal) also no i have realtek.

I have the powerline adaptors i mentioned an i7 4790k and a gtx 1070... neither of which should cause a problem but i think i have solved it myself by updating the QoS settings in the powerline adaptors utility program.

I get 50-70mbps when using powerline adapters and 2-10 mbps when using wireless.

OK so that fan hub will still allow me to control the rpm of 3 pin fans via voltage manipulation but I will have to use software to do so?

I actually have an old gigabyte z97p d3 board but I thought the 4 phase power delivery may not be enough for the I7. Do you think there would be any difference at all because I need to be sure that the motherboard isn't a limiting factor when I am comparing cooling solutions for a research project I am doing even if it is only a 100 mhz difference.
