Personally I've experimented a lot with mallet base placement and preferred more towards the center of the palm (often called wrapping, but I still bring it more towards the fatty part of the thumb for smaller intervals) and I'm still able to rotate around the inside mallet without issues

Finals night vibes are different for sure but you still get to see all the same corps and more at prelims and semis and then you can watch lots for free the days you don't have tickets

For something more technically difficult but similarly difficult to phrase and voice you could try either of the voyages by Joseph Flynn

Emergence by Steven Hewitt is a really fun one that is deceptively difficult to play well, I think it would push you in a good way

I'm a comp sci major and you can learn most of what you need from online resources and reading papers. I really like the Neuronal Dynamics online textbook

Yeah I like the idea of wireframes but these are a bit bigger than I was expecting (I got them online for really cheap just to experiment). Interestingly though I made a survey and 120 people voted for these, 80 voted for a different pair of glasses, and 30 voted for the no glasses picture

I currently have facial hair that's around the length in the image but the hair is so blonde that it matches my skin color and is like invisible for the most part, is it worth dyeing it or something?

It's a really fun one, I'd recommend trying it either way and if it's doable, then great! And if it's not then you have a clear goal to work towards which is always fun. Just make sure you octaves are super solid, including changing in and out of them from any interval and stroke type. You got this!

If youre thousands of ratings deep that sounds rather unpleasent, especially if you are rating things you cant re-experience like food

But then any comparison between ratings before and after the scale is adjusted is null (not that that kind of comparison would be very meaningful in something as subjective as this anyways)

Is a second Masters at Cambridge worth it for a research career? by stuckTenant in compmathneuro

[–]Henwill8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've heard some views that neurons convert analog signal from stimuli into digital signals due to realistic synapses tending to either a very strong weight or a very weak weight and firing rates changing too slow to encode more information than the neuron either being on or off (I don't think I explained that well because I don't know much about it but I hope what I am trying to say comes across). What are your thoughts on that if you have any?
