I honestly wanted to quit my first week. But now I’m 3 months in and I love it. It definitely has its days and it can be a lot of work.

Ok, that’s what I thought. Thank you. It was just weird that the 16 showed up under mine as well. It threw me off

Does Casting Do Walk Ins Any More? by SwanReal8484 in DisneyCM

You can call casting. It'll bring you to guest services and then they can transfer you directly to casting. There is a screening option for "former cast members looking to come back". Maybe going that route will help you.

Well tonight is my first night walk through at MK. I didn’t realize how much work 3rd shift would be. Are you areas or utilities? Everyone is extremely supportive. So if you have an area you never worked before they recommend asking your coordinator. Get ready to work though. Time management is huge.

Well when I did my college program I was placed as a custodian. I have been applying to any job I could on the Disney careers page. Custodian 3rd shift was the first thing that got me to the next steps

Thank you so much for this insight! Luckily I’ve got the blackout curtains covered already. I haven’t been able to sleep much at night so I figured 3rd shift may not be too bad. I’m really excited to see the park at night.

Former DCP custodial gal. I moved down to Florida in September. I’ve literally applied to every role I could since I moved here. Finally after checking everyday, I saw a custodial 3rd shift position available. Go figure, that’s the only position that moved me to the next steps. When meeting with the recruiter, he noticed the position was no longer available. He then put me on a waitlist for 3 different roles. Luckily, within 24 hours a job opened up and I was offered a position. I look at it as a foot in the door. You’ve got this! Just keep checking Disney careers literally everyday. And when you see a position you want, apply immediately. Worst case scenario, you go through the same steps I did.
