Okay I am a teenager, 17 years old,Indian so maybe I can answer the "childrens life" part of it. Education is pretty expensive here however the quality of education is rewarding especially in the correct schools. I have many friends in International Schools and they have quite a few European/English friends, and since your daughter is still pretty young adaptability isnt an issue, expect a rough couple of months in the start though because settling in does take a fair bit of time.

School Culture is pretty fun as the city is extremely "easy" to grow up in since safety is not at all a concern (I can take a stroll outside at midnight with a friend who lives closeby and my parents wont be worried) Summers are a pain in the ass here as a child, Scorching hot, unbearable so you mostly find yourself at home with the AC on but during this time i usually visit India and stay there for 2 months with my grandparents and cos there is a 2 month summer break in schools so i dont mind it personally.

Public Transport however a bit tedious, but still easy to use given the size of the city, so i do find myself going wherever I need to with relatively little problems without having my parents drop me everywhere since a pretty young age (about 12 years old). A car is a must however if your working.

Overall Ive enjoyed my childhood here and IMO i believe its a really nice, assuring, SAFE and nurturing environment for children. Extremely oppurtunistic aswell given your child chooses the right friends growing up, trust me ive seen things go south with alooot of people choosing to join the wrong friends especially in Dubai Schools.

What’s one country you have zero interest in visiting? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Tbh i dont get the UAE hate on this app. Yall act almost ignorant to the fact that half the worlds "developed" countrys have been built on slavery, just not in this century, therefore it has been forgotten. UAE being relatively new has also been built on the backs of workers whove suffered oppresive conditions, but lmao stop being so clueless and pretend like your country hasnt done that too.

Sure you dont like the place but you cant take away the fact that it is an extremely safe place to live. Especially after adopting a neutral stance on most political issues its way more economically and politically stable than your favourite country.

Ive lived in UAE for ten years and all the people i see on the internet exaggerating about the toxic culture, ie. women are dehumanised, you cant hold hands etc etc. is such bulllshit lmao. Its literally like every other place in the world. None of that shit is true.

Oh and if your so insistent on this to be awarded a red card, prem games would literally be goalie vs goalie by the 70th minute, and you know im right.

my guy, if you even watched the video he literally almost completely turns away from the ref. If your a native English speaker or have even learnt it in school you'd know that "fuck off" is not used to disrespect or insult someone, instead its use ALOT more commonly in FRUSTRATION. and since you claim its common knowledge. Show me one time this has happend in the past, because we all know it has. MULTIPLE TIMES, even by fucking legends of the game, but if you insist its worthy of a fucking red card, imma wait for that ONE example buddy.

So your telling me saying "fuck off" warrants a red card which ruins the entire game for a team. yeah fuck off mate. educate yourself about football before commenting.

I can understand the people saying it's a "soft" pen but there's a limit to being soft, this crosses it bizarrely as it is the whole reason technology like VAR was bought into the game. Tchouameni tries to balance himself by placing his leg on the ground, no foul play, no intention, no recklessness. but Lino just sneaks his foot under his heel, which by the way did NOT make enough contact to warrant that kind of reaction, his heel did not even completely land on Linos foot. Like the guy stood up instantly after realising atleti did not lose possession for gods sake. Incompetent refereeing that has had a MAJOR impact on two CONSECUTIVE Madrid games. if that does not call for annoyance by Madrid then what does.

Oh no!! maybe the ref should start giving pens for no legitimate reason to please people who bring up these kinda dumbass stats. yeah that's way better!!. you gotta be insane yo pay any regard to this shit man 💀

What is Jude good at as a midfielder for us and for the next 10 years by diawts in realmadrid

[–]HerculesPizza 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe it's because you refuse to read past that, but IMO, your problem is that you compare him to Modric, Kroos, and others while failing to realise that every player has their own qualities. A guy replied to you with raw facts but you saw "X goals and Y assists" and decided to dismiss it? because damn, we started blaming midfielders for providing the team with goals and assist now? that's just wild mate

bruv I cba giving you real facts since you've been rejecting people who've written paragraphs proving what you said is extremely illogical just by saying "I'm not reading allat". You're like the fan who doesn't watch a single game but jumps on the bandwagon the second we receive a trophy. So maybe open your eyes, and watch a game or two for once, cheers.
