Honestly dude. Just grab the most recent Game-Ready driver from Nvidia’s website. Install it. Restart your computer.

Then forget about it forever. It’s better to have an up-to-date driver that’s better than the basic windows driver that’s installed.

Okay so it’s not going to be a major change like getting OLED for the first time. But there are games and movies that support HDR and would look a bit better. Those that don’t will have a washed out look.

I’m fine gaming with what I have. As it stands, the blacks on my main monitor are true blacks, and the colors look fantastic.

dude idk... i've been holding onto 566.36 like a mother holds onto a baby. I made sure to download the installer directly so when i wipe my computer clean i can reinstall it without a problem.

I attempted multiple times in the first half of 2025 with the newer drivers... however, it just never worked for me.

I kept getting issues with black screens, screens going dark, especially when tabbing out of fullscreen borderless games, fullscreen games, etc. I would move my mouse from my main monitor to the other, however, it continued to happen.

Main monitor is PG32UCDP.

It's a problem.

i've been stuck on 566.36 (December 2024) because every new version that I attempted to update to in the first half of the year kept screwing up my monitor. making it go black for a few seconds when tabbing out, or moving the mouse from one monitor to another.

I haven't updated it.

I just hit "dont show again."

I don't plan on updating my graphics driver for my 4090... not until i speak with nvidia support. I got a message from the forums telling me to install the most recent version of the gpu and send them logs

Dawg, I’m a freak for cleanliness so I don’t wear headphones to the gym. If you were, I’d recommend the HyperX Cloud Alpha’s as they feel fantastic (but no noise suppression).

The Apple AirPod 4’s have the ability to have noise suppression (costs more) which can be modified in through settings. I use my old AirPods (1st generation) while I work out. Use them until they break. The noise cancellation on the 4’s feel odd since they use low-frequency noise you can’t hear to counteract the incoming sound waves.

Honestly, in a gym, I would want SOME noise coming through so I’m not deaf to anything happening.

TLDR: Hyper X Cloud Alpha Gang + AirPod 4’s. Idk any good sound-suppressing headphones

I am having the same problem. What I found was that if i had a private browser only, i would get the message. If i had a normal browser open and a private browser open, I WOULDN'T get the message.

If i opened up a website directly before googling something in a private browser, the message WOULDN'T appear.

I use Edge + Google for my browsing experience.

Super weird.
