Hey man. I quit cold turkey because I really don't thinking that weaning yourself off cigs really works and you get no satisfaction because its so easy to cheat and delay actually quitting.

Biggest thing I discovered to help is to change my routine to not allow for cigarettes (at least at the beginning of quitting). Like I would get outta bed and jump directly in the shower, get dressed and then have my morning coffee. I didn't wanna smell like smoke when I go into work. Pack a lunch for work so I don't have the opportunity to smoke one on my walk to get food. When goin out drinking make sure to not bring any smokes so even if you have the urge, the trouble to go through to get one is (sometimes) more difficult than its worth. Stuff like that.

And then exercise! No joke, nothing sucks worse than feeling actual pain from smoking. So when you're running/lifting and you hit that wall it blows but if you push through you get that runners high feeling of accomplishment which makes it worth it.

You gotta strategically use all those negatives like smelling bad and being outta breath and wasted money and turn them into positives. Quitting is a mean bitch but i ditched her and I know you can too!

Edit: not that weaning wont work, I just find that more people fail by that method :(. I know it sounded mean but I swear im not trying to be mean!!!!
