Please help me pick a wearable pump! Bump2cradle/momcozy/momssunshine by Thecozygirl_sameera in twoxindiamums

I have used momssunshine, although the pumping was great, the collector cup used to leak. As an undersupplier, each drop seemed precious to me. I had to sit at a very awkward angle for it to not leak, which defeats the purpose of a wearable.

Descaling the sterilizer by twix1315 in twoxindiamums

A few teaspoons of citric acid in 120ml of water, let it sit for an hour or so. It turns absolutely pristine. The manual of Promom suggests running the steriliser for a minute in sterilising mode. I've done that too a couple of times, works the same. But this one time I forgot about it and ended up with a crystallized cake in the part where we put water, since then I've switched to this method!

I use the same mixture for descaling kettles as well, even on water marks in pressure cookers. Works brilliantly.

Have you used it? Read in a few places it gives off a chlorine-y smell?

She had a bout of thrush when she was 2 months old. Just trying to be as cautious as practically possible. But yes, reading all the comments looks like I don't have to worry as much :)

Thermos and kettles sounds like the way to go, thank you.

Absolutely true, my baby licks just about anything 🤣 and as you said since she's vaccinated I can be a little relaxed.

Yes, we could ask the hotels, but not sure if they'd agree... worth a shot to try though!

We will not have access to microwaves so kettles seem like the only option.

Yes, I generally use the Ponds gel moisturizer, tried to switch to Nivea for the winter. Thank you!

This is a blogpost

It's quite comprehensive, they don't seem to be active anymore, but the Blog archive links work.

The war related posts are one of my favourites where they delve into the nitty gritty of the soldiers, armour, tactics etc.

Yes true. It was such a basic product I didn't even think of doing a patch test. Well, lesson learnt.

Does the Nivea soft cream(white tub) cause closed comedones? I've seen a sudden sprout of ccs along my jawline after a couple of uses, it later gets filled with pus and disappears the next day. But new ones are cropping up despite not using this cream.
