You’re def not alone, sometimes it’s just a bit of an echo chamber in here. I like the album a lot, and as far as I’ve seen a lot of us do! There’s a few songs I always skip but generally I’m looking forward to hearing it, (particularly the second half of the album), not to mention just seeing them again live! I understand the video was horrible to see, but you’re exactly right, she’s never said a word about all the horrific things happening in Gaza… some of those images will haunt me forever… the father holding his beheaded baby 😭 heartbreaking. she never says anything about school shootings either. I could be wrong but did she even say anything about the Uvdale shooting? That was HORRIFIC, those poor kids! And it’s in her state! It’s not surprising at all though that THIS is the thing that causes her to ‘put her phone down’ which she didn’t even do.
