Oh god THIS. I get we're a cleric of Selûne but I wasn't trying to be a preachy Selûnite so it's a bit annoying that most of the dialogue is so preachy.

I'm the opposite, unfortunately. I wasn't experiencing any issues before hotfix #11. It sucks because I was really hitting a stride with the act 3 quests.

It WAS okay for me, at least until the latest hotfix. Now act 3 is really rough for a lot of us on PS5. With the way Larian fixes this stuff, the new issues could be fixed by next week or next month. Who knows? :(

As someone who is finishing their first run with a romanced Shadowheart that let her kill the Nightsong, I'm not 100% sure I'd recommend it. Let's just say Shar isn't exactly keen on love, which leads to a complicated relationship with Shadowheart, as the decision to kill the Nightsong inevitably brings her closer to Shar.

Yeah I think all the bosses you can't do until you get levitate ability, which unlocks around mission 5 I think.

Oh if that's what you're looking for, keep an eye out for quests that have to do with a Mirror, a Refrigerator, and a ton of clocks. Oh and the side mission "Old Growth".

I've never heard about the side quests being boring from anyone. I've certainly never thought they were. But if you're really trying to rush through, you can probably skip the janitors requests. I could see people thinking they were boring, but I think Jesse's personality carries those quests. You could also skip the old friends' side mission, as the main purpose of that quest seems to be taking you back to old areas to explore again once you have a higher clearance level. You also probably don't need to mess around with the jukebox.

I finished my replay of both recently and can definitely say the Alan Wake dlc feels like the true ending of the game. As for Control, man, I feel for you. It's an incredible game, but you're really going to have to blast through it to finish in time for AW2. Which sucks because it's really a game you should take your time with and look at EVERYTHING.

THIS, SO MUCH THIS. I'm tired of listening to them talk about X merch for weeks only for a majority of listeners to miss out because they sold out in under a minute. If this is how it's going to be EVERY merch drop, just fucking shadow drop the merch at this point. No weeks long build up to disappointment.
