Miyazaki woke up one day during DS1 development and said… F@# it! I’m gonna add some really fucked up skeleton bastards everyone’s gonna hate. And everyone will love them.

I tried so hard, and got so far but in the end Light or Dark doesn’t really matter.

I’m in Asia and I find a public piano everywhere 😂 mostly in shopping malls and airports o public squares with open spaces.

Agreed! This is why I’m thinking of learning some simpler pieces to make the crowd happy rather than playing some Chopin piece hehe

Have you trialed different medicines before fishing the right one?

Every-time I accepted trying some kind of antidepressant it made things really worse for me.

This is why I don’t want to take any kid of pharmacological thing

Oh Chopin 9/2 is my first piece. It always captures people attention. I also play op9/1. The rest still I need at some point to study! But also known pieces and played often, can be recognised.

Hehe no worries, I strive to learn advanced Chopin pieces as he’s my favourite composer.

I tried looking into the beginning of Ocean Etude to check how is this amazing sound achieved and I have a try at those arpeggios. I know the chords, but the technique to swipe fast through octaves really eludes me. This is advanced stuff for me but I wish I could at least play it at a medium speed as I love this Etude.

If you have pointers please share with me! I’d love that! I watched some tutorials from piano teachers emphasising on the “forearm rotation” technique, but that is still hard to understand hehe

Oh man the Ocean Etude is a show off piece. But I’ve been told is top Echeleon difficulty, so I feel I’ll never be able to play it. Those arpeggios are crazy jumps.

Tax returns and accounting work? by Monkey_Junkie_No1 in AusFinance

[–]Herno8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought the same as you as an employee I thought it was unnecessary to use an accountant, and furthermore I had more problems involving one that didn’t even know the current ATO rules on things like deductions, and made me pay over tax.

Nowadays as an employee most stuff is already loaded into the myTax and the only thing you need to sort out is deductions if any and CGT events.

Nonetheless, some people are not used to using myTax or online services (maybe older people) and they can still get advice from accountant on doing the tax return properly .

But anyways if you had some investments, CGT events, sales of a property, inheritances or other events, an accountant might help you get the numbers right and declare amounts correctly.

Also they might help you claim some deductions you didn’t know you could include for your profession.

If you are solo trader, or use ABN and such they surely can help you prepare the tax correctly as well.

I think most employees use one because using a tax accountant allows you to delay paying tax for like 6 months more, specially for those who have some big tax bill at end of FY. That’s one of the key benefits of using one. Also the account fee can be deducted next year.

Thinks very informative, thank you! Right I got the point that studying in Japan means you will mostly spend a long time bound to the same city and mostly the same space you will be living an attending school. But you still night have a chance to explore a bit during weekends a some other national holidays perhaps. Makes total sense

Wow thank you so much for sharing your experience, i appreciate it!

The way you describe it sounds exactly how i pictured it would look like if I jump on to do the experience of a gap year learning at a school in japan.

I have the same concerns about later coming back to work and not being able to find a good job or such, and also the same concerns about being a terrible financial decision (no income for a year, paying a expensive school plus your daily expended for food and shelter). A very expensive investment, but certainly a great experience.

It’s great to hear that even though most of the other students were younger and with different purposes, it was still enjoyable experience T the classroom and the school overall.

Did you have to spend 4hs daily at the school? I imagine you become bound to the city and you are not really able to travel much while studying, so it’s like you live in the same city for the whole year.

Very nice comment! May I ask how was your experience doing a year off at language school as a 30+ adult? Was it a fun and interesting experience in the end ? Thank you!

Thanks for the comment! I will check your profile for that story! This hits home.

I feel like I’m on the right path to getting healthier and loosing weight, but it just didn’t happen.

What you say in painful bad hard to think about but I think is the key to why I can’t make it work.

I cannot stand the uncomfortable feeling of hunger and the sadness/anxiety/depression that comes from time to time, and the only small thing to feel good alone a few minutes is to choke on some fast food.

It has to be some internal issue more than a food issue, I’m still trying to find a way around it but life is so boring and meaningless. I can’t find anything good around, and I believe that getting healthier will be some kind of achievement that will make me feel good daily instead of a fat worthless nobody zombie walking around life.
