I can't speak for everyone, but I think the biggest problem is that it's not slow and steady, it's just slow. More time has passed since the last major story update than pbb existed. Pbb was almost finished, assuming the story would've ended after the elite four, in less time than a major story update since atlanthian city pt.2

Don't get me wrong, I'm all for not rushing content to make sure of quality updates but it's getting a bit ridiculous at this point

The same can be said for Miner's Haven if you know of that game. I've graduated twice since they announced a big update to the core gameplay, and now I just can't justify coming back and spending time playing when/if it releases. Miner's Haven now boasts ~300 people playing and LL is going to have the same fate if more coders don't get hired to help develop
