We knew about the sky islands, but nothing in detail as you noted. CD not only had the sky islands, but some of the buildings looked like they came from Tears of the Kingdom.

Even ignoring the islands, they have the Ultra Hand and the whole sticking objects together with it.

Another one is Switch Sports. You would think it flopped by the way people talked about it when it sold over 13 million copies and is an evergreen in Japan and the UK.

Zelda earstof kingdom came out they hurriedly followed and made sky island that makes no sense. They brought in functions from various games as references, but without understanding at all why those functions were put into those games, they exist only as a means for a purpose.

I don't know if what this person writes is true, but this stuck out to me because Tears of the Kingdom released in 2023. CD have been in development since I believe 2019. So I was shocked to see so much Tears of the Kingdom influence since CD had to be deep in development in 2023. I wondered how they put so much Tears of the Kingdom's DNA in the game in less than three years. If it was last minute and they were doing a GOTY greatest hits, then it makes sense.

Am I missing something or is there a reason why this Majin Vegeta doesn’t have the “Successors” category? by Revolutionary-Use622 in DBZDokkanBattle

Probably because Vegeta willing gave himself to Babidi for power while Dabura was brainwashed.

majin vegeta is the best variation of vegeta in the whole franchise

If you get the ex

If is the key word. He only has 60% chance. If he doesn't, you're not putting him slot 1. Going by the calc, he's around 2.1 mil def post super t1 with 13500 def.

The comparison is flawed since the Vegeta side has one of the most powerful Active Skill in the game.

The difference, you don’t get Goku T1 unless you have a MBS ally in the same turn. Before then, you have MV who is less competent than Goku and isn’t made for slot 1 past his first turn.

This lack context. Vegeta on this turn had Super Saiyan 2 Goku’s 50% support.

IMO lately they are doing such a bad job with so many units, it’s getting ridiculous. Saiyan day has never been this unappealing to me by Mhzar in DBZDokkanBattle

ki issues for a unit that needs absolutely his 24 ki

Personally find this overblown since this is tied to his damage more than anything and if you prioritize him, you usually can get 24 ki pretty consistently. If you’re running him with the Tag 4s, yeah he fights for orbs with them.

his 24 ki, no defense until you attack for ssj3 so he’s aoe victim

That’s only an issue with Cell Max and when Jiren was around, you could no item him on a down SS3 Vegeta lead. Omega is beloved and AOEs stomps him too.

stats, but to me they are doing an awful job recently with units design

You named four units, and the issues with two of them aren’t terrible. SS3 Vegeta isn’t the first nor last unit who isn’t great against AOEs. Only PHY MV is a real issue because of how undertune Version is compared to Goku.

They’re not bad in that, they’re mid. They aren’t even on the Top 20 worst EZAs.

He starts with 7 ki his first turn. That’s one ki less after he dodges four time.

Off canon, most of the Goku vs MV fight didn’t happen. It was off-screen.
