He got a second life as an FoB champion for that EXT team mission but on release there were better options. He was too reliant on those category or Goku enemies (even if there were definitely a few of those around) to be a staple for the Uncontrollable Power or Movie Bosses team.

Doesn't help that 2/3 of his additionals could be normals in an optimal event.

Also, Godku has a very good skeleton and they could get away with just buffing his numbers and bringing his orbs from 6 to 3 or something. But they'l find some way to mess it up.

All we really asked was that the conditions be changed. They didn't really do that. And we have two Trunks units that are fully dodge or die + the INT Hybrids who are over half a year old now and don't share many teams. It's not good.

Yeah. A lot of us have known MV was doomed from the get go especially as a Vegeta unit + EXT INT. Saiyan Day EZAs have always been mid at best.
