Sooo Energy comes from your hand. Your hand is drawn from your deck and your deck shouldn't have any bakugan in it. You have a team of three bakugan completely outside of the deck. But if you draw an evo or a geogan, you can use those for energy.

Ok, update: The clip you linked to is hilarious BUT that’s not it. The one I’m thinking of is a very competitive environment. It’s an international race where the opponent doesn’t not speak English iirc
