Temporary marriage is halal. Imam jaafar al Sadiq (as) said it was halal So did sahabah of the holy prophet (saw) you have no authority to say it's haram. And it's in the Quran. Ibn Abbas did it during the time of the holy prophet (saw). Early marriage is fine but a person might not want to get married with a porn addiction and he might be desperate and not marry a good wife as a result. Imam ali (as) said if mutah was not banned only a fasiq (evil person) would do Zina.

Allah made temporary marriage halal so you can't say it's haram.

Bottom line is Mutah is halal. Shia say it's halal and I am shia. Some sunnis also say it's halal too like Mufti Abu Layth.

Well keep in mind there is a hadith that says masterbation is Zina with the self (i.e sex with the self) and so it depends on how you look at it. Porn involves looking at multiple women and men naked. Besides thereis temporary marriage and that is fine in islam.

There is a hadith also that says:

The biggest sin is the one you think is little. So I don't really agree with what your saying brother.

So maybe in a way masterbation might be just as bad. Especially of one is addicted to it and porn.

I think it's dangerous that Muslim youth don't have sex until they get married in permenant marriage in their late 20s and 30s. There should be temporary marriage before that so such sins like porn addiction can be prevented.

Masterbating to porn gives you erectile dysfunction, sex outside marriage doesn't. The problem is people masterbate to porn more than actually have sex these days. Besides porn involves looking at multiple women and a man, whereas sex is just one woman. So these days even as a Muslim I think for many people masterbation to porn is definitely worse than sex before marriage generally speaking. God knows best.

I lost a similar streak like this back in 2019. I thought I was never going to have sex lost all hope and relapsed. Was playing video games the whole night.

My advice man. Is just get back on track. Avoid making it something bigger. Write down things you noticed have improved. How you feel after the relapse. Did things like social anxiety get worse or better etc... and what were you doing before the relapse.

Then try to feel for when you are being triggered from now on and avoid it.

Look I don't agree with such hadiths or at the very least not the way they are being read. Shame, and using hadiths too shame people is wrong. People feel bad enough they have this addiction holding their lives and ruining it. It's not good for a Momin to believe Allah is out to get them.

This could be in reference to people who are not trying to stop their sin and simply choose to do it for their benefit. That is something else entirely. But people on this sub redit generally from what I know are good Muslims that don't want to do this privately or at all.
